Lovely place and the owner is very nice. My senior dog rolled in the grass & napped in the sun, while my young dog ran and ran around the main field. Looking forward to spring plants growing in the nose garden!
Marygrace’s fenced in areas are perfect for Charlie. He gets to do all his favorite things- run, sniff, zoom, and explore.
The host was very nice she came out and introduced herself and told us about the different fields. The back field was a nice sized area, plenty of room for our pup to run around and play fetch in. The agility field ran parallel with the road and unfortunately people were walking their dog in the street so we didn’t have a chance to try it out. But we’ll definitely be going back!
Wide open. Fun for the dogs! Glad you had water and the hose available. Thank You!
Very nicely set up, and our dogs had a blast running free. Water and toys were set up for the pups and even had seats for us humans. Will definitely return!!
This spot was amazing! It’s easy to get to and there’s a little table with a map that’s helpful when trying to figure out what field to use. It was very clean and obviously well taken care of. The field that we used had a great selection of toys available. We will absolutely be going back again!
Nice large lot along with three others giving lots of variety to entertain pups
Great, wide open space for the pups to run, with a secure fence. The dogs loved the toys and flirt pole, especially. We will be back!
Such a sweet and fun adventure for my doggo!
The location had four separate fenced in areas one of which was large with lots of area to run in. There were a lot of amenities (bags for poop, hand sanitizer, sticks, balls, and toys for the dogs), so this is a great spot for most people, unless your dog gets distracted by horses. The description states the neighbor has horses, and unfortunately the horses have the ability to be visible through all three of the larger fenced in areas depending on where they decide to be. Only the small nose garden (which had an "in progress" note on the gate) was out of view of the horses. I came to the spot so my dog could do some off leash sniffing and training in a new area without distractions and we were planning to test out the agility equipment at the end (limited to two a-frames and a teeter, unless I missed something). For about 20-25 minutes my dog ran around, smelled everything and had fun doing so. Shortly after we started mat training, one of the horses walked down into view of the area where we were, and my dog immediately ran and started chasing it along the fence line, and became overstimulated meaning training was futile at that point. Additionally, there's a note at the entrance advising you not to touch the white line along the fence because it's electrified.... the problem is it's low enough that my dog would have hit it if he had jumped up, and in his state he was getting close to doing that. So we ended up leaving 30 minutes early. Not the right spot if your dog gets distracted by horses - you can't avoid seeing them at this location. I also heard a few gun shots in the distance so if your dog is noise sensitive just be aware of that. Otherwise, it would be a great location for most dogs.
Growing up, I can't remember not having a dog and that continued into my adult life. I have experience breeding (Jacks) and AKC showing (Glen of Imaals). I've also owned and trained with my fear aggressive dog. She is gone now, but she taught me so much.
