Welcome to Hydro Hounds — a private indoor space designed for dogs to swim, play and enjoy some off-leash freedom! Your booking gives you private use of the facility, with no unfamiliar dogs sharing the space during your visit. This makes Hydro Hounds a great option for nervous, reactive, shy or easily overwhelmed dogs who may not enjoy traditional dog parks or busy public spaces. Our indoor heated facility features a large dog swimming pool with a gradual ramp entry, life jackets, floating toys, fresh drinking water, a dog wash area and forced-air dryer. Whether your dog is a confident swimmer or has never tried swimming before, they can explore the water at their own pace — there is never any pressure for them to swim. The pool is approximately 24 ft × 12 ft with water around 44 inches deep. The gradual ramp provides a shallow area for dogs who prefer splashing, playing or getting comfortable before venturing into deeper water. Hydro Hounds is completely indoors, making it a fun year-round option during cold Alberta winters, rainy days or whenever you and your dog want a private place to play. Please remember: not every dog will choose to swim on their first visit — and that's okay! For some dogs, simply exploring the ramp, playing with toys and building confidence around the water is part of the experience.

🐾 HYDRO HOUNDS POOL RULES • Dogs must remain supervised by an adult at all times. • Humans are not permitted in the swimming pool. The pool is for dogs only. • Please use the designated ramp/stairs for entering and exiting the pool. Do not encourage dogs to jump into the pool from the deck. • Never throw, push or force a dog into the water. Dogs should be allowed to enter and explore the pool at their own pace. • Dog life jackets are available and strongly encouraged for new or inexperienced swimmers. • Please give your dog regular rest breaks. Swimming is strenuous exercise, especially for dogs who are new to it. • Please brush dogs with loose/heavy coats before swimming when possible to help keep the pool clean for everyone. • Dogs experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, contagious illness, open/infected wounds or other conditions that could contaminate the pool should not swim. • Please do not allow dogs to intentionally urinate or defecate in the pool. If an accident occurs, let us know immediately. • Children must be closely supervised around the pool and ramp area. • Please keep dogs leashed while entering and exiting the facility and do not enter before your scheduled booking time. • Shared toys, life jackets and pool equipment should remain at Hydro Hounds. Most importantly — have fun! Some dogs swim immediately while others prefer to splash, play or investigate the ramp. Let your dog set the pace. ❤️
