55Not only is this a great yard where our dogs love to romp and play, but the hosts are really lovely people, dog lovers, and very generous. I highly recommend this SniffSpot!!!!
55Sorry for delay. Your place is great. Large grassy area for the dogs to run and play. Thanks for water. Will be returning.
55Awesome as usual... Thank you for keeping the yard clean and putting out extra water and for letting us visit, even though you had family in town. That was really kind of you
55Fabulous SniffSpot!! Lots of parking, so many helpful signs! Super fence, fun toys! Great space!!! Dogs had an absolute blast! Highly recommend!
55We came back again today bc my pups loved your yard so much and I was able to relax knowing how securely fenced you have your sniffspot! Melissa is an incredibly sweet host and SO accommodating . . .I was running late and she blocked off additional time for me and my crew. SO very kind. Thank you for hosting us!
55We LOVE your yard and felt so humbled to be there. This is the first time I have felt 100% sure that there were no "I could slither under that" spots in the fence. Melissa and Wes, thank you for accepting our last minute booking and for giving additional time... My babies really needed a run about today and your spot helped bring them happiness in their spirits...which made this furbaby mama very very happy.
55Nice, fenced in area. Lots of places to sniff!
55Great spot….our dogs loved the large area to explore and obviously new scents.
55Super clean and beautiful. My pups thoroughly enjoyed their time here and played until their hearts were content. They put out water for them and left some treats as well, there were toys throughout the space as well (even though we brought our own in case). If you're looking for a private spot for your babies, especially those reactive babies, this is most definitely the spot to go. I had such a smooth experience and my super reactive dog finally got to play stress free. Thank you times a million to the host ❤️ I am going to attach some pics of my pups after their playtime bc I don't think I've EVER seen this bunch so tired 🤣
55First time using a sniff spot for the pups. We have a foster dog right now that I didn’t want to take to a regular dog park as I don’t know how he will react to other dogs and people. This sniff spot was well secured and was great for him to run around off leash.

Description

This is a private residence with a very large backyard fenced in. We are set back from the road so once you are in our back yard it feels like you are 2 hours + north. In the summer we are often traveling with our children and dogs. We are blessed to have such a large piece of property in this area. Some amenities are available and we just added a small doggy pool for your pup to cool off (may not be large enough for big dogs). Our home is generally locked up but you are welcome to explore the yard and we have some heavily wooded trails and the very back of the property where often deer are seen that you may explore. Garden hose, electrical outlets and water dishes available on the backside of the house. We have 3 separate entry/exits along the gate. You are welcome to use any of them, just please close the gate upon leaving. Parking is open to the driveway or the yard. Be aware of a small shallow pond in the front yard. We do not use pesticides or fertilizers on the grass at all but we may use some in the flower beds only. Please clean up any dog messes and a trash can is provided. Feel free to enjoy the views, fire pit, and back deck. Thank you.

Welcome to our fully fenced backyard — a safe, spacious retreat where your pup can run, sniff, and just be a dog! Our private yard is completely enclosed, giving you peace of mind while your furry friend enjoys the freedom to roam off-leash. There’s plenty of open space to stretch those legs, and when you’re ready to relax, we’ve got comfortable deck seating so you can kick back and watch the fun. Whether your dog needs a good romp or just a calm, secure place to unwind, we’d love to host you both. 🐾

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)
