Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream, saltwater pool (seasonal extra only) and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and family house to this restored, historic 1890s main house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Add the extra and fish at the stocked pond or swim in the 30ft saltwater pool! (Seasonal) Lots to do and see/sniff for pups and owners. Pond swimming is always included in hourly rate. We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed. Your dog will really enjoy our fully fenced open play area. We are in the heart of South KC but you would never know with all the woods and tall trees surrounding the property. Let your furry friend come see our city chickens and they may spot a wild animal or 2. Feel free to enjoy our private trail and woods as well. Our trail also connects to the city's park and Trolley Trail if you decide you want to take a longer walk after your off leash experience. Pet parents can enjoy a shaded seating area while your furry friend plays. We have toys and fresh water for drinks for your pup. Puppy pool if requested. More dog play accessories coming soon. *We ask that guests keep dogs out of the raised garden beds and off the upper deck. Please enjoy the rest of our beautiful space!

1 Acre Fenced-In Private Dog Park in the Northland

Come enjoy our easy-to-get-to 1 acre backyard! Half sunny field, half shaded woods, this spot is perfect for exploration! (This is our home, we live here, this is not Bar K or even a city run park) There is a small shed with a shaded porch, chairs, towels, treats, toys and water jug for refills. Feel free to use the kiddie pools as well!

Bunnies luckily have escape routes, so if your pup likes to Sniff, this is your Spot! And of course, all the other pups scent also! Great spot for launching balls, while you relax on the patio. We're at the end of the Cul-de-sac. Still learning the ropes and enjoying meeting guests if I'm here! I have a kitty, but he has hiding spots, and guests rarely see him since he has escape routes. The neighbor to the south just signed up (chain link side) so you may see a pup there.

Nice large, open yard for lots of running around. Quiet setting with frequent deer sightings. There is a kiddie pool for the dogs to splash in, seasonally. There are multiple seating areas for humans in both sunny and shady spots: a glider at the back of the yard by the pool, seating in the garden and ample seating on the large deck with another glider. Please feel free to utilize the deck. We do not enter the sunroom that is up against the deck when guests are here. Enjoy the hammock and saucer swing.
