Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. John's dog park is located in Clay county Missouri you go through pleasant valley to get to it. It is surrounded by Kansas City claycomo and pleasant valley but the sniff spot is actually located in Clay county Missouri it's his split by shoal Creek it has some deep areas and shallow areas for different sized dogs I am in the middle of setting up barbecue grills bonfire pits lighting it has asphalt off the road parking and you can drive your car all the way down to the spot in the woods so no need to worry about it being parked or ticketed on a city road. John's dog park is an excellent mix of the country without the drive to the country right in the middle of the city. On John's dog Park trails you also see deer turkey rabbits squirrels and much much more. There are nice cut trails to walk you and your dog will have a wonderful experience and I believe your dog well enjoy trails the timber the wide openness and the ability to run swim and play all while not being bothered by people for not having a leash although that is at your discretion and the safety of you and your dog is at your own risk although John's dog park is a very safe place to go. The property is located at the last house on a dead end road from there a private road that goes back into the woods that is asphalted and gated there's grass trees thicket mold stereos creeks waterways plenty of sunlight or shade if you need. We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed.
