Description

Our serene Sniffspot located near the intersection of Mutton Hollow and Thornfield Rd in Kaysville, Utah. Our property spans just under an acre, offering a diverse landscape for your dog's enjoyment. We also have a slatmill your dog can utilize upon request. The area is predominantly grassy, providing ample space for running and playing. The terrain is a mixture of gentle and steep hills, adding an element of adventure to your dog's exploration. Mature trees dot the property, creating a forest-like atmosphere with plenty of shade and interesting scents. We keep up on our pup's every week, but we can pick up before your visit upon request. A highlight of our space is a small, man-made waterfall and pond, introducing soothing sounds and a touch of tranquility. Water features are seasonal and will be dry or turned off during winter. Adjacent to our property are some goats which offer your dog a chance to safely observe farm animals from a distance. We also have a variety of gardens, some maintained and some that are wild, adding to the natural beauty and providing a variety of scents for your dog to discover. Our Sniffspot is designed to be a safe and engaging environment where dogs can explore, play, and relax in a natural setting. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend!

At the west edge of the property, it is very dense with trees, but it is a retaining wall that a dog could try to climb down. But there is a fence at the bottom. The property has lot of dead foliage.

We are software engineers who work from home, so we’re home pretty much all day. When we’re not working, we love hitting the trails as casual runners. We share our home with two awesome (and very different) dogs who keep us entertained and active. Ruby is our 11-year-old, 15-pound Maltipoo. She’s black and white and missing her left eye, which she lost after an unprovoked husky attack. Despite that, she’s still the “Fun Police” and takes her role seriously, barking and chasing to keep order. She mostly prefers cuddling with people (especially me, her favorite) and isn’t a fan of high-energy dogs, so we limit her socializing. Sofina is our 2-year-old, 30-pound Bernedoodle. She’s full of energy and adores playing with dogs of all sizes. She’s super social and loves people, though she’s still working on some manners—like not jumping and her habit of “mouth hugging” (don’t worry, no biting—she just likes holding hands with her mouth!). She’s also a total cuddle bug when she’s not zooming around. We’re excited to explore Sniffspot and find fun, safe places for our dogs to enjoy!
