I accidentally booked for the wrong time and Jennifer was so accommodating to let me come a few minutes earlier than anticipated. She helped me wrangle my not very easy crew out of the car and gave us a great run down of the land. We had so much fun and all 3 dogs are home sleeping like bears 🩷
This spot is just as advertised. My dog loved seeing sheep and lambs for the first time. We went on a nice long hike and played in the creek. A tremendous value for the price.
Jennifer is very welcoming and great at communicating about the property, showing me the gates and main trail before leaving Zoe and me to explore the acres and acres of woods, with a stream and fenced pastures that are available for doggos that would otherwise run off. I’m sure Zoe thought she had died and gone to heaven having the place to herself! She even got to meet the friendliest horses, as they came right up to the fence to say hi on our way out. The chickens and sheep didn’t want anything to do with her though lol. The only time you’ll see other animals (not usually dogs) btw is entering and leaving past the farm creatures in their own fenced in areas (unless of course you run into something wild out in the woods.) Also, as Jennifer warned ahead of time: there will be mud and there will be ticks, so be sure you and your pup(s) are prepared. Amazing experience; can’t wait to go back! Oh, and do yourself a favor and buy a dozen of her farm fresh eggs for $3.00!
Host replied: Thank you so much it was lovely to meet you and Zoe!!
Always a pleasure to walk at Jennifer’s place. The snow makes it even more magical and no long grass to navigate. So glad Rox and I found her.
Great trails, and the owners are very kind 😊 If you’re looking for a nice place to hike with your dog, this is it. There’s a couple of gates to walk through before you get to trails so no worries if the dogs running into the road.
Nice place, friendly people. Beware of ticks. We were warned, I was able to grab a few off my pup as he is tan. Be sure to do a good check!
Great place for dogs! Nice and quite~
Very nice and walked with us a bit to show us which trails went where and how to return in different ways it was beautiful and both my dogs and i enjoyed it
Once you get beyond the initial gates you find yourself on a beautiful trail surrounded by endless woods for dogs to explore. Our three dogs had a ball. It is a bit overgrown and was very buggy the day we visited so dress accordingly. They splashed around in the creek and if there is mud to be found our old girl will find it and she did!
This property was beautiful! Next time I will wear long pants. We didn't travel far, because the path was a bit overgrown and I didn't want to scratch my legs up. My pup still had loads of fun and enjoyed watching the sheep! 1 hour was not long enough! The 3 rams did make me a bit twitchy.
