Description

I have 3.7 acres completely fenced, with multiple different areas that have table/chairs and off the ground dog beds. It is 1/3 mile to walk around the perimeter with animal trails around most of the borders. There are two water faucets in the entry way area with a hose and a children’s swimming pool, dog toys and treats, and a dog waste station, and a place to hang your leashes on the fence. Lots of photo ops with garden art, birdbaths and yard flags around the property. Amazing views of the mountains, Clear Lake and Mt. Konocti around the property, especially on the hill for the doggo parents. The pond in the property north of mine has an Osprey nest and you can see them flying over to the lake to fish. Lots of birds and wildlife visit the property. Please keep a close watch on the smaller pups! My lower area has a seasonal pond in the winter. that water dogs love! The property is truly a peaceful sanctuary for dogs, and their owners. UPDATE 5/2025 - Deer typically drop their babies in May, so there may be fawns hiding in the wildlife areas with longer grass to be mindful of. I've been working on getting the property mowed/weed whacked. I have mowed lots of walking trails around the property while I get the rest under control! COMING UP IN JUNE: Feel free to pick some wild blackberries - there are millions of them!! (No Pesticides used on the property) TRAMPOLINE - I put a trampoline on the property for my grandkids use. Sorry, but due to liability issues, trampoline is for personal use only.

HOST NOTE

Lots of blackberry bushes. I’m working on taming them. (Flip Flops not recommended) On the side of the hill near the entry way there are ground squirrels and their holes in the ground to be mindful of. I've tried to put an orange flag on the worst of them, and am filling in the inactive animal holes, but they do move around. Wildlife does come on the property, but they are savvy about avoiding people and dogs and typically most of them spend their days at the neighbor's pond. The Month of MAY is when the deer usually have their babies, so I purposely leave some areas un-weed whacked to provide protective cover for them. NO SMOKING on the property due to fire danger! I'm retired. I purchased 3.7 acres in Dec. 2021 in North Lakeport, CA. I recently put a small, manufactured home on the property and a 100% off grid solar system. Eventual plans for the property will be a walking trail around the property, chicken coop, organic orchard, organic vegetable garden and lots of flowers! Gardening is my favorite hobby! I love all animals, but especially dogs, and would love to share my property with other dogs to enjoy life safely and off leash!
