Welcome to Arcadia’s Shady Dog Oasis! Give your pup room to run, sniff, explore and play in a large, private backyard in the heart of Arcadia. The yard features a spacious grassy area, mature trees providing plenty of natural shade, and lots of open space for everything from zoomies to a relaxing afternoon outside. The property is securely enclosed for privacy, with fresh water available for your pup and comfortable shaded areas to cool off—especially important on those warm Arizona days. Whether your dog needs some off-leash exercise, a quiet space away from other dogs, or simply a big backyard to enjoy, this is their own private little park while you’re here. Come let your pup enjoy some grass, shade and freedom in Arcadia!

🐾 Welcome to our Sniffspot! 🐾 We’re proud to be part of the rescue community, and every booking helps support our rescue efforts and the animals we love. ❤️🐶🐱 ☀️🌙 Because Arizona summers are hot, we happily offer evening visits too! Our 0.18-acre yard gives pups plenty of room to run, play, and explore. 🏊‍♀️ Our dog-friendly pool features easy-entry steps and a shallow lounging area, and you’re welcome to swim alongside your pup! The pool reaches a maximum depth of about 5 feet. If you’ll be bringing 🚨 children who cannot swim 🚨, please let us know after booking. ✨ At night, the pool lights up! Choose classic white or colorful changing lights after booking. Patio lighting keeps the yard bright for safe and fun evening visits. 🎾 Whether your pup loves fetch, zoomies, swimming, or simply relaxing, there’s something for everyone. Feel free to bring a speaker and enjoy your favorite music while you unwind. 👥 Reservations include up to 2 adults per dog. Additional adult guests are welcome for a $10 fee per person. 🧹 Please help us keep the yard clean by picking up all trash, belongings, and used dog treats before leaving. Gum must be disposed of in the poop trash can only and should never be left on the patio, sidewalks, pool steps, or landscaping rocks. Unfortunately this is a big issue for us.😢 ☂️ Please do not adjust or move the pool umbrella. Unfortunately, we've had to replace it multiple times due to damage, and we'd love to keep it available for everyone to enjoy. ⚠️ The slide is currently cracked and unavailable for use. Are you ready for the best day ever? Whether you need to shake out those couch-potato legs, practice your Olympic doggy paddle, or just let out some serious, unstoppable zoomies. Find a patch of warm grass, stretch those legs out like a rotisserie chicken, and soak up the sun. Your booking automatically covers you (dog) and two of your favorite treat-givers. Space is limited for cool dogs and their humans who need a little time-out. Extra Human Guest" $5/hr at checkout

Sunny Day Lawn

Our backyard is a wide open space with lots of fruit trees and plants for the sniffing! We have a large patio couch and umbrella to protect you from the sun. There is a basket of tennis balls for the pups enjoyment. We also include poop bags to clean up after your pup. On the back porch we have a utility sick and soap in case you need to wash your hands. The garden hose is also available for dogs that enjoy some water, we just ask you don’t let it run for your entire visit. You enter the yard through the gate in our carport.

Shaggy's Shack in Tempe

Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again.
