We are a short 6 minute drive from downtown Blacksburg in a serene mountain setting. Lots of parking space if groups want to come. Inside the fenced backyard there are benches for you to rest on while your pooch plays. You are also welcome to use the deck and work or charge your device. If you are here in the evening with friends, there is a fire pit that you can use for a bonfire if you bring your own. There is a creek behind the property on the outside of the fence that can be accessed and hiking trail nearby. We have 3 indoor/outdoor cats and there are 3 cows that roam around on the property next to us.

Open field for your dog to run. NOTE: CELL SERVICE is unreliable, texting a bit better. GPS is unreliable as well. Before your first visit, you should get an auto-message 2 hours before your reservation with turn by turn directions. Now on to the good info. The primary area is about 1 1/2 acres. I use it for dog sports such as Toss and Fetch (disc). It is ideal for throwing a ball, a disc, or just letting your dog run. There is a shed in this area that has chairs, toys, etc. for guests. Wide hiking trails with views of mountains, wildlife and farm animals that wind through woods and open pastures on our 100 acre farm. Property climbs 500 with views overlooking the greenbrier Valley. You and your dog won't e disappointed in this hike!

Our property is 25 acres of country beneath Tinker Cliffs. The roadside is approximately 5 acres and is the home place and 20 acres is wooded trails and a Little Catawba Creek. There is a beach area with a swimming hole for dogs and shallower rock ripple areas for romping around. The area does have wild animals but that is to be expected. Please be considerate of property lines and keep dogs on leash if they are not trained to stay near. Dogs that will stay near can be off leash and have freedom to run but please know that your dog will see wild animals such as deer that may entice them to chase. There is easy parking located at a safe distance from the road (approximately 130 yards). Please call ahead for initial tour of trails. Close toe shoes with tread are recommended. Trails can be slippery in a few spots near the natural spring. Trails are mowed and mostly shaded. Hats are also recommended although ticks are not bad. Access will be restricted during hunting season.

We live on Brooklyn Dr in Roay VA. The area is beautiful and not in a high traffic area. We have the pleasure of all types of wildlife and we have a creek off the property. It is safe and your dogs will enjoy the experience

My backyard is fully fenced. You’re welcome to have the yard to yourself or to have your dog meet my dog. she usually loves to play with the other dogs at the dog park. I’m just getting started so, I welcome any input that you have.
