Note from host

The perimeter of the property is fenced in via wooden posts and barbed wire. 95% of the property is fenced in via barbed wire expect a small portion of the left-hand side of the driveway up. I still would consider this property fully fenced...

Description

Welcome to 20.5 acres of pure doggy paradise in the beautiful hills of Kentucky! 🐾🌳 I recently purchased this property with dreams of turning this into a rescue dog sanctuary! This location is perfect for the pup who needs the stimulation of pure nature. Give your pup the freedom to run, sniff, explore, and enjoy nature at their own pace. Our peaceful property features wide-open grassy areas, rolling hills, wooded sections, and plenty of room for your dog to let loose and be a dog! The property is approximately 95% fenced, with only a small section along the left side of the driveway remaining unfenced. Whether your dog loves sprinting through open fields, following interesting scents, exploring the woods, or simply relaxing in the fresh country air, there’s something here for every pup. Come escape the noise, enjoy the outdoors, and give your best friend an adventure they’ll love! 🐕❤️ PS: Yes, it really is only 1 credit! I know the price might seem too good to be true, but I am not doing this for money nor did I buy this property to make money from it. My dream is to one day turn these 20.5 acres into a rescue dog sanctuary, and until then, I want to share this beautiful space with as many dogs as I can. Seeing dogs run free, explore, and enjoy life genuinely makes me happy. If I could list it for free, I would! 🐾❤️

Hazards

HOST NOTE

The fence is made of metal barbed wire, with 5 lines of wire spaced out. An aggressive dog may catch themselves when trying to escape or enter an alternative way. My dog has yet to have an issue. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water

Additional rules

🐾 A Few Friendly Guidelines Welcome! My goal is simple: give dogs a safe, peaceful place to run, explore, and enjoy being dogs. Just a few things to keep in mind! * Explore freely! You’re welcome to enjoy the open fields, hills, and wooded areas. Please be mindful of the property boundaries. * Fencing: Approximately 95% of the property is fenced. A small section to the left of the driveway is open, so please keep an eye on dogs who tend to wander. * Wildlife: This is a natural country property, so you may encounter deer, turkeys, squirrels, and other wildlife. Please be mindful of dogs trying to chase or disturb them. * Clean up: Please pick up after your pup and take any trash with you. Let’s keep the land beautiful for everyone! * Respect the property: Feel free to explore, but please leave gates, equipment, buildings, and anything stored on the property as you find them. * Supervision: Dogs should remain supervised throughout their visit, especially near wooded areas and the unfenced section. *MOST IMPORTANT RULE* Please relax and enjoy your time out here. I want this to be a place where dogs can truly be one with their owner and nature. We often get caught up in life where we forget we’re able to take a deep breathe every now and then. Look forward to meeting you and your dogs!

I’m a 25 year old former division 1 baseball player, who absolutely loves dogs. I gave up my life in the city and bought 20.5 acres with a dream of turning it into a rescue dog sanctuary one day. The biggest risk I’ve ever taken. I have zero experience with anything building, never sat on a tractor, or anything handy. I plan to document this whole journey on YouTube where I go from a completely inexperienced newbie, to one day running a dog sanctuary that I built over the years. @thekentuckykorean

We have a kennel boarding business there are times during the day when our dogs do not use the play areas. So on days when we are not full or times when we are not using the play lights, we would like other fur babies to have the chance to use them.
