Description

Come let your furry friend relax for a minute in between bar hopping from one brewery to the next! Or take a couple zzz’s from biking or hiking along the river trail! We do have a “puppy” pool if you’d like us to fill it up before you come, please let us know asap! Dog toys are in the tiny ottoman! Feel free to use the umbrella and the chairs, they are rockers, please put the cover back on if you use them!! ☺️

I do have a bird feeder so if your pup likes to eat off the ground there may be various left over bird food on the ground! Plants are on the deck, but they are non-toxic! Please watch out for your pups ☺️

Please pick up after your pets and if you can prevent them from digging that would be great! We do have dogs that come out on both sides of us (just for those with reactive pups!)

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
