45We had a nice first visit. The yard was spacious, the fence was sturdy and secure (and easy to get in and out of) so we felt very comfortable with pup being off-leash, and there were lots of areas for her to explore. There was a dead squirrel and what appeared to be part of a dead snake, too, which our dog was interested in (but we needed to keep her away from). There was also a gas can by the entrance that we needed to keep her away from. Parking was easy and host was a good communicator. Even with the snow, this was a nice place for our dog to get some off-leash exercise.

We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
