Brittany's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Menomonie

We live on 3 1/2 Acres 8 miles east of River Falls WI 3 of that fenced in with a pool, jolly balls, and weeds to go exploring… a path is mowed around the inside fence line and a few paths thru the weeds…

There are 15 acres of native prairie grasses and plants. There are a few trees and rolling hills. There is approximately 1.5 miles of mowed trails that loop and connect, creating several options for new routes for each visit. There is also an outhouse available if needed. However, it is within our normally private area, so dogs must be on leashes and there are hooks for leashes while in use.

Opportunity Woods is open as of July 1! It offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a 7 foot high fence. Several benches will be placed along the rustic trail, but of course, there is no need to stay on the trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use. There is a roofed shelter just up the hill from the hydrant, where you will find wire-wheel tables and chairs for sitting, playing games, hanging out or having a picnic. The shelter gives you a birds-eye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the neighboring paddocks.

The private 5 acre field offers both flat and hilly portions. Bring your snowshoes or boots in the winter, tennis shoes in the summer and burn off some energy with your furry companion. The area would be perfect for training, fetching or just enjoying the sunset. There is ample street parking and easy field access.

The riverbed, field and fenced area are all open for play! A couple paths are a little squishy but you'll be able to see ahead We have a beautiful piece of land with a mostly fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will love it here! The river is cold and easy for dogs to hop in and out, (not easy for humans right now). If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!)

Our property is a dog’s paradise! We’ve got an open backyard, wooded trails, and an orchard out back with tall grasses. We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Come winter, we often snowmobile our trails, so they’re walkable all year round. Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. We’re excited for more pups to enjoy our land!

Hello! My husband and I recently lost our dogs within months of each other. So now we have this nice big yard, but no puppies to fill it with.. For now :) Seems a shame to waste a nice yard. One of our dogs was leash aggressive and our other would get anxious at dog parks. We totally understand what it means to have a yard for your dog who may struggle a bit with other parks. Our yard is fully fenced in with two gates to get in. The neighborhood is quiet with a couple neighbors who have dogs but they keep to themselves and we never had problems. Our dogs were smaller, so we are not sure if a bigger dog would be able to jump the fence. We do have lots of rabbits - just to let you know. Our dogs never caught them though :) We also have a patio area with chairs and will have a bin or space with doggie essentials -poo bags, trash can, water dish, and maybe some balls.

The back yard is Fully fenced in area with shaded areas, and plush grass for your pet. Many amenities along with direct access from fenced back yard to public wetland/ long grass area with 2 small ponds. Kiddie pool and sprinkler can be provided at request. Come relax with your best friend in our comfortable back yard. Our dog sure loves it and we hope yours does as well.
