Scenic 6 acre+ open field to run, roam and play fetch
Welcome to our spot! Please read all of the description of property before booking. We are an open field (not a yard). We decided to open it up to the public for our love of dogs and desire to provide a sniff spot in the area. We are not a typical yard, we are not fenced and I am sure if dogs could rate us, we would be the best as we provide a wide open field (grass, hay, weeds, bumps, holes, etc) to roam and play. I stress this as I do not want anyone to be surprised. The location is easily viewed behind the church at Locust Grove and Amity if you want to check it out before booking.
Water days are here from 6/14-6-18!!!! Sprinklers will be on in the field for all to enjoy. Some of my best moments are with my dog, Boone, playing in the sprinklers. He gets silly and super happy running in the sprinklers. I want to open up that experience to everyone. If your dog likes the water, you do not want to miss this experience. We will have it only a few weeks of the summer.
6+ acres of grass pasture to freely roam. Picnic table, ball launchers and beautiful views to enjoy.
Easy parking at the church by the two green gates or you can now park under the trees on the property. The Picnic table to use as home base.
At times, there are activities at the nearby church that are out of control and may have people, and dogs near the property. The field is large enough that you can avoid close proximity if you play in the middle.
The field is a mix of grass, alfalfa and weeds. There is a chance that there will be fox tails, goat heads, cheat grass depending on location and time of year. I try to keep things cut but it’s easy to relocate to the middle of the field where it is flattest and mostly grass and hay. The corners seem to be the worst with weeds and foxtails.
If your loved one needs a friend, Boone our family chocolate lab is a very playful and fun companion. Let me know your interest and he can join in on your visit.
The field is an active grass hay field. It is not fenced but large enough to roam around and enjoy. Please note that it ia not fenced. I want to be transparent on this topic. It is fenced for large animals (cows) on three sides but not dogs. Play in the middle if that is a concern.
In th summer, we will have water days with the sprinklers. The dogs will love it. DM me if you would like to get on the list.
