***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Trails are more like hiking in the woods and not suited for bikes or any other equipment. Large pond where your dogs would love to swim for hours. You can park your vehicle near the pond. POND IS 10 FT DEEP. Sorry for safety reasons the Paddle boats are not for public use. Rubber boots are strongly recommended. Guests, please, pick up after your dogs. Drop trash in the big metal bin.

We are working hard to prepare the area for your visit, some areas might look less than perfect but we keep it safe for you and your furry companions. Nurtured by Nature is a thriving kids summer day camp. So for the safety of the kids and respect to their families we are unable to have the area available while the day camp is open. As are their owners. If you are not a strong swimmer, please wear a life jacket. I’m terrified of drowning, so please respect this request. We share our backyards with our neighbours, so please be respectful of noise. Dogs bark, but people screaming can be difficult to accept. I’m joining sniff spot mostly so doggies have a chance to swim in summer. If you have any requests that aren’t listed, please contact me as I may be able to accommodate.
