Our dogs loved this spot! as soon as we stepped out of the car they were welcomed by a sprinkler that my pups loved playing in, ran in circles on trees and posed on tree stumps. we will definitely be back again! would definitely recommend!
Not quite what I expected. Should not list as 'fully' fenced. The gate itself was an obvious 'gap' that most dogs could get right thru. Because of brush and such, most of the fencing could not be seen and I could not tell if it was secure or not. Ended up only walking my dogs on leash around the path. Believe there is some poison ivy also along the path. Host did communicate that part of the fence was down in back but I did not go back that far.
Host replied: Hi Sue, We’re sorry that you did not have a positive experience. There are 37 photographs of the property, and it feels unfair to receive such a poor review because you did not take the time to review clear photos of the gate and fencing. We’ve also answered many questions related to fencing and the make-up of the property, and are discouraged that instead of communicating to us prior to your experience, you chose to negatively review us. None of our other 25+ guests, our dog, or dogs of family and friends, have ever had an issue escaping, given how far away the play area is from the front gate. Playing in any property’s front yard is never a good idea. It is also unfair to insinuate that other parts of the fence are insecure. We disclose where the fence is down. Of course, our property abuts 150 acres of wild Florida, which is very different from Ohio. Finally poison ivy is not very common in our area and we ask in the future that you try to familiarize yourself with local flora before bringing your dog to a property which clearly indicates there may be wild plants and overrun areas. It is common for snowbirds to mistake poison ivy with Virginia creeper, a Florida native vine. We’ve confirmed that this is the vine around our property with our arborist and know how to spot it. We provide detail to any guests of the type of vegetation on the property. We hope that responsible pet owners will continue to share our space.
The spot was great and Tim was very friendly. My boys had a lot of fun.
Great place with lots of room to run and explore! Will definitely be back soon.
A beautiful property! The host set fresh water and toys out for us. My girl had a blast exploring in the woods and playing ball all over the property. I enjoyed the chairs in the fire pit area while she was off exploring.
Great spot! My dogs loved exploring the area. We appreciated the water left out for them as well. We would certainly love to return!
There’s been some updating since the last time we were here, more area cleared and a fire pit with some chairs. Tim was a great host as always!
Amazing space to explore and run! Next time we will definitely bring food for a picnic.
What a great property. My doggie had a blast and left tired, hungry and ready to dream about running there again.
Love love love! Beautiful property, well maintained, and super easy to find. I had one very exhausted and extremely happy pup after our visit!
