Location

Mount Dora, Florida

Description

We have 5 acres of land that is fully enclosed with a fence. Roughly 1.5 acres - 2 acres is cleared land, perfect for running and activity. The remainder is forested. We reside next to a nature preserve, so wild animal encounters can occur. We have seen bears, coyotes, and snakes. Most of these occur in the morning time. The fence up front has some larger holes that a small dog could get through, but this is far away from the primary area located in the back. There are plants toxic to dogs around the house, so it is probably best to remain in the open areas.

Cleanliness

99% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

We have two separate fenced areas. Both are about 1.5 acres. Gate to pass from front to back yard which is more isolated from the road. I leave my pup run in the back but I watch him. In the front yard I stay closer my last pup was easily drawn to chase motorcycles so I fenced off the back to give him a less distracted play time. Yard is fully shaded by Oak Trees.
