Description

Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream, saltwater pool (seasonal extra only) and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and family house to this restored, historic 1890s main house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Add the extra and fish at the stocked pond or swim in the 30ft saltwater pool! (Seasonal) Lots to do and see/sniff for pups and owners. Pond swimming is always included in hourly rate. Natural wildlife and plants, thorns. Farm animals. Pool (extra), Pond, streams, cliffs and valleys. Bee Hives. No lifejackets provided. No Lifeguard on duty. We don’t spray any poisons on the property so please be prepared for natural insects by wearing personal repellent and making sure your dogs are treated. Outer perimeter fencing is livestock fencing, will deter but not hold all dogs. I would keep your dogs leashed until getting to the pasture area; they might try to run into the horse area so keeping them leashed will help over when you first park. DO NOT enter property early! Please wait outside the gate until your scheduled visit time. Must have a full profile set up on Sniffspot. We don’t allow extremely aggressive dogs. Reactive is ok, semi aggressive is ok, but no extra aggression allowed on the farm. Animals here are friendly….This is a drama free zone. ♥️ Please advise of number of people in your visit that will be coming with you and your pup/s. :) 2 humans per dog limit unless other arrangements have been made with host. We only allow 2 cars per visit unless other arrangements have been made. PLEASE look at and save PROPERTY MAP in main photos and/or access information, it’s a large space and all the amenities offered are notated on the map. You may not have service, so please save photo or screenshot for later. READ CHAT sent to you on first visit! Extras- Swimming in the pool is additional and is only available with purchase of Extra. Swim in the pool FIRST and then the pond if using both. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not provide lifejackets and there is no lifeguard present. You must supervise your dogs at all times. Fishing is catch and release / use worms/etc. or lures only please. (no minnows) Use of this property is at your own risk. Do not enter any fenced in horse area or fenced areas by house or any buildings. Stay away from bee hives. Please leave no trace. Parking available inside gate. Dog poop and toy pickup required. **Must wash dogs with water hose before entering pond if your dog uses topical insecticides or flea collar (to avoid any pest treatments from doggies getting in the water). For your germ safety we also recommend washing the dogs after exiting the pond as well. Waste receptacles provided for poo. NO dog poo in outhouse please. Please clean up after your dogs to be courteous to the next guests.

We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed. PLEASE READ THE WELCOME MESSAGE THAT IS SENT TWO HOURS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL.

Bunnies luckily have escape routes, so if your pup likes to Sniff, this is your Spot! And of course, all the other pups scent also! Great spot for launching balls, while you relax on the patio. We're at the end of the Cul-de-sac. Still learning the ropes and enjoying meeting guests if I'm here! I have a kitty, but he has hiding spots, and guests rarely see him since he has escape routes. The neighbor to the south just signed up (chain link side) so you may see a pup there.
