Currently 1/3 of our yard is temporarily fenced off for lawn maintenance. It’s still a great space for small to medium pups! Open space for you and your best friend to play. I will often have a clean bowl of water ready for you pup(s) at the bottom of the stairs and toys to use. Come and have some fun! Parking is in front of our home, curbside and to enter walk around the side of the house parallel with the alley and through the gate with the wreath by the garage doors.

Zen Paw Ranch

Hello fellow pet parents! We have a total of three lush green acres available for your beloved pet friends to explore. The space is fully-fenced. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. Bring your pup to our serene backyard where Reese loves to swim and play! We have a beautiful, heated, in-ground salt pool reopening for our second pup swim season on 4/24/27. We have plenty of seating with an umbrella, and a fully fenced one-acre yard for sniffing! We kindly ask no humans in the pool, only dogs may swim. For safety and security, please know there are outside cameras recording. We can't wait to host you and your pup! We kindly ask that you refrain from arriving more than five minutes early, as we often have guests back-to-back and need time to clean and tidy for your visit to make sure it's ready for your pup fun! If you want your dog to have fresh water for your visit, please add the kiddie pool extra and we will dump and refill with fresh water right before your visit. 🚨Rules🚨 • Digging allowed behind the shed only. • Pick up poop. We have two poop bag stations, and a trash can. • Place used bowls in the “dirty” bin on the side of the shed. • Put toys/tennis balls back in the toy boxes. •Close gate behind you when you leave. ** The pool is not available to guests at this time. ** 🎉 Events / Parties Welcome 🎉 Message us prior to booking. Please include number of dogs and people/cars in your message. 📍Spot Details 📍 Large open, fenced-in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car beds, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including tons of tennis balls, and several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.
