55The owner did give us a heads-up that the yard was a bit messy but it did exactly what we wanted. It was a great size for our dogs to be able to run and fetch their balls. There was a hose provided for water. My dogs were able to get the exercise they needed and the yard was still available, we had other yards that had new owners and were no longer available.
55he had a blast!! they left fresh water out for him and there was a ball and frisbee to play with, turns out he loves frisbee!
55This yard is exactly what was described and more!! My dog has reactivity issues with other dogs, and we live in an apartment so finding off leash spaces for her is impossible (but she deserves to be a dog!). I reached out to see if the fence was as described- tall, and completely covered. And it was! I also informed her that my dog was reactive, just so she knew, and she was super accommodating! She let me know that her dogs would be inside, and on the other side of the house for complete privacy. She didn’t have to do all of that but did anyways! While we were there, it was completely quiet minus normal natural sounds (birds, cars, etc). My girl was so happy being able to sniff around freely without being bothered! The host also provided water and a toy!! To top it all off, the yard is a perfect size for a dog with low energy levels, like mine. It’s large enough to explore but not large enough for her to not be seen! 10/10 recommend. This will be my go to yard now 😇
55The house is in a beautiful, what looks to be a newer developing subdivision. If you’re in Augusta on the GA side, it’s a quick trip down I-20 and just a few miles off the first exit over the border. I had reached out to her to see if the neighboring houses on either side had other dogs (which they do NOT at this time, in case anyone else prefers a situation like this) which is exactly what I needed. Due to past issues we’ve encountered with horrible, aggressive neighbor dogs that we’ve lived next to, and one of my dogs getting attacked unprovoked years ago, he doesn’t tend to get along through barriers with other dogs and has some reactivity (yet has gone to daycare just fine 🙄). The house also backs up to a pretty, quiet wood line. It was perfect. We encountered zero issues while there, just like she said, no other surprise animal encounters. The yard size is exactly as noted in the listing and representation in photos is accurate. It’s pretty much your average, standard newer subdivision size yard, which was absolutely not a problem for us. It was cut and well maintained. There’s still plenty of room for your dog(s) to play fetch, as we did, and zoom around and chase each other. There’s also plenty of patio furniture to sit and relax. As she noted, she doesn’t have any toys at the moment in the yard, not a problem for us, we have plenty, so we brought our own tennis ball and Chuck it stick. There is a garden hose in the back and we always have a water bowl in our car so I brought that in for the dogs. Gate is easy access to the right side of the house, also clearly noted in listing, unlike other hosts. Side note, at this time, don’t forget to bring your own poo bags for pick up (never a problem for us, we always keep everything on the car) and easy disposal in their residential outdoor garbage bin. For the size of the yard and simplicity, I think Savannah and her husband’s house is perfectly priced. We went mid afternoon on a weekday, and it was so quiet and beautiful to relax and let the dogs be dogs. We have been going to a place in Summit on the weekends that’s bigger, but an hour drive isn’t feasible on weekdays. This will definitely be our weekday/evening spot. Our backyard is a 0.14 acres, fully fenced yard. We have chairs outside that guest are more than welcome to use! There is also Wi-Fi. TEMPORARILY I don’t have toys outside or a bucket for water, but both will be added ASAP!
