55Quiet yard with both shade and sun. My dog visited for a training session and it worked out really well for us. Thanks!
55def nice and relaxing and princess had so much fun exploring !
55We had a great visit. The baby pool was a huge hit. The host was responsive to inquiries also.
55This is a great spot. Lots of space and easy to find. We only ran into an issue when first entering as the neighbor on the right’s dog’s greeted us at their gate as we were entering. If you have a highly reactive dog, this could be an issue but we went back to the car, cooled off and tried again and no problem when we returned. The host is very accommodating and the space is beautiful. Great for fetch or just hanging out with your doggos.
55Great backyard and grateful to have an option for my dog to play after being attacked at a dog park. My dog loves smelling plants and had plenty to explore! This was a beautiful back yard and the toys, water, poop bags and amenities are greatly appreciated! Would love to visit again.
55This SniffSpot is wonderful! It's easy to find, secured and beautiful! It has all the things that dogs need: a pool, water bowl, poop bags, trash can with a lid, a longer than usual yard to do zoomies, and TOYS! We have some very satisfied customers and they give all 4 paws and a tail (5 ⭐️!). We highly recommend and we'll come back.
55It was really amazing! My puppy loved it and he fell in love with the toys that are there for the dogs to use. The pool was filled for us and there was bug repellent for us to use! 10/10!!!
55This sniff spot was very nice. My dog loves to explore and dig and this the yard allowed for both. We will definitely be back!
55Loved it!
55This is certainly a retreat. Especially great for a pup that likes to hang out in the bushes. Many, many things to sniff and plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Bruno loved it; even found a new toy in the bin and claimed it as his own (temporarily anyways). 😀 Very nice mix of sunny and shady spots and plenty of seating for the hoomans. We will be back.

we have two dogs who will remain inside when guests are here. there are dogs on both sides of the fence in the front part of the yard, but not the back. they may be out periodically during the day but are usually attended to so although there may be barking initially, the owners are usually quick to address it. and it would only be in the patio area, not the backyard. the fence is a wood fence so the dogs are not visible only audible.

Description

Our yard is a longer more narrow yard which allows the dogs a little more distance for their runs. There is landscape bordering the fence and a garden in the front of the yard next to a yoga studio. There are areas to explore and areas for both dog and owner to relax, and a secure dog run that can be used for training. There is some agility equipment, a small plastic pool, as well as a sandbox and a deck with a roof in the dog run to help keep the dogs cool on a hot day. Water(hose), dog bowl(s), toys and towel(s) to dry the dogs off will be provided.

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.
