55Such a great spot to stop at to let a dog run free for a bit on a long drive! Got to stretch my legs too, so double plus! Booked for 30mins and it was just enough time for Suzie to get back in the car after exploring and running her heart out with a big game of fetch (pro-tip, bring a Chuck It because there's SO much room for dogs to run!) and happily sleep for the rest of the trip to the panhandle. Trying to see how I can work stopping here again on my way home, and as a fun side quest to all future trips, panhandle related or not 😆 Also, Andrea was great! Had a question about the fences and she was super responsive! Made sure not to have the kiddie pool filled so I didn't have to ride for another 4hrs with a wet dog in the car 😅 Suzie can also be a little wierd around people and doesn't like when new people touch her, and Andrea was super respectful and understanding about that when she came out to show us where to go 😊🐾
55Unfortunately, I had an emergency just before heading out to Andrea's place. I texted her and let her know I may not make it. Andrea promptly replied, was understanding, and generously offered to be flexible with my arrival time. From booking on, Andrea was delightful and responsive. I look forward to booking (and arriving next time) in the near future. I recommend Andrea as a SniffSpot host.
55Great spot!
55Absolutely the best place to take your dogs to. What can I say...10 acres of wide open completely fenced yard that is flat with scattered trees for shade and endless room for your dogs to stretch their legs. Doggie pool available with fresh running water so you can provide your buddies with some fresh and cool water. Very therapeutic to just walk the land with my dogs, the only sounds we heard were a few chickens and a peacock. The land is well maintained of any debri and is a mix of grass and sand. We are so appreciative to have access to such beautiful land.
55Really nice open fields. Very clean and plenty of shade. We’ll definitely be back!!
55Huge area with plenty of shade and sunshine both. Our dogs enjoyed their visit. We had to leave a few minutes early because our old Boykin Spaniel was tired. Would definitely come again! Thank you!
55Absolutely beautiful space for my pups and I! They really enjoyed this area, big space, lots of shade and sunny spots, water and a mini doggy pool!
55Great spot! Tons of room for my pup to explore and sniff. Had a blast.
55Great space for the pups to run and explore 🐾💕There is one spot at the very back right corner of the property that the fence is a little wonky and a pup might be able to get out if they really really wanted to and had enough time out of your sight but kind of doubtful. My doggie fieldtrip service will definitely be using this property on a regular basis 🐾
55I brought my apartment dog here and she loved it. There is so much room to run around and so many things to sniff!! The neighbors do have BIG goats (like horse sized) which didn’t cause an issue for Chai because she just wanted to play with them. I didn’t find any ticks on her afterwards but she did get a prickly thing in between her paw pads, which took two seconds to take out. You could hear dogs barking at the front of the yard but you couldn’t see them and once you got to the middle/back you couldn’t hear them anymore. Definitely will be coming back!!!

North Star Ranch Private Dog Park In Archer

Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Our ranch currently has no land improvements, which means that you’ll have to bring your own water, snacks, poo bags, and flashlights if you book early or late in the day. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. So be prepared for an encounter with a gentle Florida wilderness. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much needed! We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are very rare. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are unkempt. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoys lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic chairs. We usually turn them sideways when we leave so they don’t collect rainwater. There are a couple cones and tires and poles around the sitting area and you’re welcome to rearrange them for your dog’s needs. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do!
