55We enjoyed our visit to the doggy park! Loved that it was out of the city with no street noise and just the sounds of nature around us. The park was clean and welcoming. There was a comment online that an easier access is coming, so we'll look forward to that, but the walk up the little hill wasn't bad at all. Thanks for having chairs and doggy bags and trash. We'll be back!
55Awesome space! Quiet and removed (except for the occasional rooster in the distance). Big enough to accommodate my 100lb boy. 😊
55Beautiful spot, very quiet and serene. Lots of good shady area, especially nice in hot weather. Very clean, fencing is secure!
55Our first time to the spot, and I'm impressed! The space was very well planned-out, fence very secure, and the space met all of our basic dog park needs. The signage and parking directions were great. They didn't have water available, but we always bring our own water anyways. The meadow is about 3/4 clover, plus some grass, which was perfect for our girl with skin allergies. Plus, there were zero pot-holes from dogs digging! This was just enough shady space to play fetch until my 55-pound staffy got tired. We went from 10:30-11:30, and the meadow was consistently 3/4 shaded the whole time we were there - amazing for summertime!! The host was quick and helpful with communication, and clearly loves working with dogs. This is definitely our new favorite spot close to home!
55Tucked away it was a great early morning spot. Lots of shade from the trees and a space big enough to play in.
55This is the perfect sniff spot - nice size for playing with your dog. Very safe and clean - a great vibe! Easy to find.
55Lovely, quiet spot with minimal distractions. Perfect spot for training and play.
55It was so beautiful and safe for our pups! We loved it.
55Great secluded spot. Quiet and fully fenced.
55It was an amazing first sniff spot adventure for Noodle and I! The area is super clean and a good size for any size pup. Noodle had a great time playing ball, we had a wonderful one on one time and mommy got to relax. Description in the post on where to park etc we’re easy to follow. We definitely will be back!

I am a Seattle native and 23–year full-time dog behavior professional. I’m thrilled to be able to share this beautiful property with the dogs of Olympia and their people, always looking for things to add and improve to make this space more enjoyable. I am very happy you are here! 🙏🏼

Large 1/3 acre lot, perfect to chuck it far and tire out your canine.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Any suggestions on obstacles or improvements please message me. Thanks for considering enjoying canine time here!

124 Acre Conservation Farm Trails Fields Fun

Follow our FB page for open days. Farm store now open! Swing in before your appointment and grab some retro sodas, dog beer (YES I SAID DOG BEER!), artisan smores kits and so much more! CASHLESS sales at the store please. Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS.
