55I would give this place 5++++ stars if I could! LITERALLY A DREAM COME TRUE! We took BOTH of our dogs, and our little human, to this Sniffspot and would definitely come back! Our very reactive Rhodesian Mix had the time of her life running around this amazing location, with the trees, sniffs, and sounds! Our golden LOVED the wetlands and dove right in, as did our toddler. This place is SO well taken care of, maintained, and safe. Definitely will be coming back! What a TREAT!
55We had a great time! Trails are really well maintained. Very peaceful beautiful spot. We hope to return. I don’t think we explored all of it in the two hours we were there.
55This is such An amazing place. Every visit we find something new to love and the dogs are just in heaven. Definitely going to reserve for a longer time next time. An hour is no where near enough!
55This spot is great. So many trails to explore and very secluded. It was very easy to locate. The dogs really enjoyed running the trails, swimming in the stream, and playing with the big jolly ball. We will definitely be back.
55Such a fun spot! There is so much to explore!
55This was such a fun place to take my pup! We could have spent all day exploring. We will definitely be back again!
55We’ve missed being here! After a tick scare we held off on coming during the summer months and didn’t have time to make the drive here. It’s just as amazing as it’s always been. So much fun for the girls to run around and do dog things in a safe environment.
55Loved this place! So much room to explore you definitely need more than an hr to play! The host was great and the whole area was very clean and well kept!! My girl loved her time here we will be back again!
55I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My dog loves it here.
55OMG this place was Awesome!!! Sooo much space and the cleanest portapotty! Definitely worth the drive - we look forward to coming back!

Description

We are Closed for the season so follow us on Facebook or TikTok for open dates ;) Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS. Check out our website, insta and FB page for more photos too! Happy Sniffing!!

Large 1/3 acre lot, perfect to chuck it far and tire out your canine.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Any suggestions on obstacles or improvements please message me. Thanks for considering enjoying canine time here!
