Hi there! Welcome to Cleo and Norbit's Backyard Oasis. We are excited and honored that you would bring your pup(s) to our backyard. Our backyard has a lot of running room and a chlorine pool. If you want to use the pool, please let us know and we will remove the pool cover before your arrival. Please note that we do have chickens in an enclosed area, if your dog is not okay with chickens, unfortunately we cannot host you. The chickens are on the complete opposite end of where you enter through and most guests don't even see the chickens. Our yard does have cameras for yours and our safety.
Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! **Guests visiting May-July: fireworks may be audible. I do my best to message ahead if they are happening. If ever you need to leave easily due to firework noise, message me! They are usually Friday-Saturday** I have a very noise sensitive dog and the spot was actually a good distraction even while they went off but each dog is different. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental go support Misspits and the animals in their care.

More fencing and one new trail added in February 2023. Two picnic tables. Gated entrance. Enjoy our secluded woodsy trails on this 12-acre parcel. Relax in the provided chairs in the center of the lot while your dogs explore.
We also are now offering Snifferdogz brand merch! Malaney Creek Farm is a 124 acre conservation farm comprised of fields, forest and wetlands. 3+ miles of private trails, open grassy fields. Trails are marked to keep you pointed in the right direction. Picnic tables, covered areas to duck out of the weather and portable restroom with hand sanitizer. Your sniffspot staging area is located in what we call our "Cascara" campsite. Covered picnic table, adirondack chairs, firepit and a big green grassy field. This spot is a central location near the portable restroom, easy drive in access, and a base location for exploring the trail network. Our trail system has been a labor of love. We enjoy providing unique experiences and highlighting the natural beauty of the forest and wetlands on the property. Once home to giant cedar trees the property was purchased by the Great Northern Railway in the late 1800's. A railroad system was built here and the giant cedars logged and milled onsite. You wouldn't be able to tell that now as the forest is doing a wonderful job of repairing itself. We do have a few artifacts scattered about that have been found that you will see on your walks. A large concrete trestle base, railway beams, rail spikes and misc metal items from the trains and equipment. Most of our trails accommodate hiking and mountain bikes (yes E-bikes are allowed ;), however the hiking only trails are really evolving. Our new wetlands trail is a quick link between Casacara and the Beargrass island trail. It is foot traffic only and features hand hewn cedar bridges made from cedar logs left behind by the logging operation over 100 years ago! Log rounds to hop across wet areas and places to stop and soak in the quiet. There is a diverse landscape of rare native plants on this hike and foraging opportunities abound! Fiddle head ferns, chicken of the woods and more! Our most prized flora is a large patch of Labrador Tea. A very rare species of plant related to the rhododendron that native american peoples used as a medicinal healing tea. So come out and explore! Bring appropriate footwear, your furry hiking buddies, a bottled water, and a camera. We look forward to hosting you! PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN THE 2 HOUR WINDOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. WE BLOCK OUT ALL DAY BOOKINGS FOR SNIFFSPOT APPOINTMENTS. Check out our website, insta and FB page for more photos too! Happy Sniffing!!
Located on Interlake Island, this backyard has 70' of water front. Dogs are able to swim in frontage area where they are more protected from waves, or can jump off the dock if they are confident swimmers. If your dog is a swimmer they’ll need to have good recall, or to be kept on a lead. We have a 100’ lead available to use. There is lots of grass at the waterfront, and plenty of tennis balls. Garden hose with doggie shampoo and towels are provided. Unfortunately we will be closing down our Sniffspot after June 8. :(
Park like fully fenced acre for your pup to roam and sniff all the things. Lots of trees mean large shaded areas at all times of the day. Relax on the custom made Adirondack chairs and bench, or hang out on the covered porch while your dog plays. Multiple fruit trees on site that you are welcome to sample from. Cherries, blueberries, plums, apples, and Japanese pears. Water bowl is on the deck, but let us know if you have a dog that will have difficulty with stairs and we can move it into the yard. We will be shut down for 2-4 weeks starting mid June due to a deck rebuild and yard reseeding. We will reopen as soon as possible once the new seed takes hold.
Fully fenced with welded or woven wire. Seasonal lake. Private use.
Our family loves to bring their dogs to our property to run and play and my daughter suggested we open a Sniffspot. So we did and named it after our dog, Samantha (Sammy). This is not just a backyard or field, but a dedicated dog park complete with agility equipment and parkour obstacles which include hurdles, ramp with bridge, parallel bar, stumps, and a deck for you to sit while enjoying the park. We hope all that come here enjoys this spot, "Sammy's Safe Spot", as much as we do.
