My backyard is relatively flat with natural grass growing on its own. I let nature pretty much take its course all throughout the year and mow it when it gets a little shaggy, once a week or so. I never fertilize or water, God provides the water and keeps growing the plants back there. Some spots have, flowers and other plants growing about, no need to worry about the dogs messing around in those. I don’t care if they hike a leg or dig some of them up. If they do, don’t worry. 😉 There is the deck that is exposed underneath where the dogs could access that spot, just to be aware and look out for if you don’t want them to go under there. The yard has no trees in it, other than that, it’s a pretty open backyard. Able to let them run around or lay about when the sun is shining down. Lots of birds and natural wildlife is always flying in and hanging out. Truly nice to see that whenever I’m home to witness it.
