When you book a Sniffspot, you and your dog(s) are the only ones in the space. Playdates are welcome. Our Sniffspot is our backyard (attached to the house), which is about 1.5 acres of mostly open lawn... great for playing fetch or running at top speed! It is securely fenced with 5' fencing. There is seating, gazebo for shade, dog toys, and agility equipment and a dog pool. In the winter there are plowed paths. A separate, 8 acre fenced area is also available. Ask me for more info. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs welcome. VACCINES: All visiting dogs MUST be up to date on core vaccines (DHPP) or titer tested. Spotted Acres is a dog oasis situated on a 24 acre property with a wooded trail, open fields for ball fetching, kiddie pool for cooling off and an agility course to play on. Your dog will never want to leave!

***Charges are in USD*** This is a 1.5 acre field that is perfect for off-leash and distraction free time with your dogs! This space provides apt enrichment for dogs of all ages. The space offers a combination of grassy fields, small wooded area, and a small pond for dogs to run and explore. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We offer a discount to anyone with foster dogs, please reach out for details. RIVER LOVERS’ SPOT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE…. We are overrun with Canada Geese. The nesting pair were welcome but the number that have moved in since are overwhelming. Their waste has made the site unpleasant. There are 50-80 in residence currently. The adolescents are 75%. Attempts to thwart them have not been as successful as summers past. I will change the calendar (and pics) as the move on. Summer is short!! UPDATE: We are awaiting approval by Dept. Environmental Conservation for ground changes. I’M ANXIOUS AND WILL POST WORD SOON…please be patient 🙁. Follow up 8/10/2022 With summer slipping away and things not changing on our waterfront, I’ve decided to open the calendar and see what happens. Things don’t always go as planned. The water is low. The shore is rocky (but not far in). The natural shore is pretty mucky. And there’s an old dock that needs to be pulled. Mostly cosmetic and negotiable with the keepers of the wetlands. DOGS DON’T CARE. Take a peek and see if it would suit your pup. We’ll be here next year but once it freezes it’s a “no dog” zone. 🐾 Dogs, bring your people and swim, run, or just watch the ships on the St. Lawrence. No fence but there’s more riverfront than road front. Our spot is small, quiet and your only distractions will be shore birds, waterfowl and fish. The shore is low rocks so good footing preferred. The water is shallow. The vistas are perfect. All dogs should have a river spot to share.

This fully fenced charming yard is 850 square feet of green grass and play space. It has a mown lawn, some small shrubs to sniff and explore, and a couple of flower beds. It's a small space but is a lovely place for a get-together of small dogs or a little escape to let your petite pooch have some off leash fun. Perfect for folks in apartments or without fenced yards! We have chairs, tables, an umbrella,and a Hammock for dog-owners to enjoy 🌞⛱️🌷 **Please note that sniffspot charges in US dollars. Good afternoon from the BARKYARD! Firstly, thanks for all your support to date! We signed up to Sniffspot to teach my son valuable life lessons related to business and customer service and he has really enjoyed the experience. However, I regret to inform you that we have decided not to provide Sniffspot services in the Spring and Summer months. We will re-evaluate in Fall but at this time we are blocking off any further scheduling effective April 01, 2023. Our reasoning is based on the damage that will inevitably be caused to our yard and the potential disruption to our surrounding neighbours when backyard use is more frequent.
