Why?? first we love dogs but can no longer have one and we have a humongous problem with wild turkeys on our property. Other than shooting them the only other remedy is scaring them and a dog will do that. right now we have 32 grazing on our front lawn. No you cant shoot them its out of season and many of them have trackers on them. Obviously your dog would have to be obedient or it would be in the next township still chasing, so it has to return on call. To the "they were there first" crowd come on over and walk though wall to wall turkey poop and we can talk. If your interested in using our fields for a dog run and at the same time helping us scare the turkeys message us. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We also offer an assortment of agility equipment. Potsdam Community Dog Park at 17 Madrid Ave in Potsdam, New York, is a fully fenced enclosure for dogs to play. Rules include supervision, no aggressive or sick dogs, and only two dogs per person.
