Description

This is a beautiful 14-acre wooded area where you and your dog can enjoy serenity and lots of wildlife including but not limited to turkey, deer, and tons of birds. If you are lucky, maybe a morel mushroom or two depending on the time of year! All private area for the dogs to run or walk at their leisure. We also have a few streams running through the property and a 1-acre pond in the front. We are 35min from Bloomington, 20min from Morgan-Monroe state forest, and 20min from McCormicks creek.

Hazards

This is all wooded area, could be uneven or even wet. There is a stream or two running through. There could be some wildlife as well. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water. There is also an electric fence around our chickens up at the top of the property and if it is touched, you could get shocked. Please don’t touch! We recently added a horse to the farm, but this is not part of the Sniffspot at this time, please don’t touch. Thankyou!

Booking Policies
Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    I absolutely LOVE this spot! It feels like having your own private state park trip! The trails through the woods are very walkable and there was a noticeable lack of bugs/skeetos. My dogs loved the pond, which was treated. There was no moss or algae and again, not a lot of bugs (specifically mosquitoes). The host met us upon arrival and explained the trails and pond. I really appreciate that she left us a towel and bottle of water. Normally my dogs are ready to leave after an hour but they loved this spot so much, I had to really coax them back into the car. We will definitely be back!

    An amazing first Sniffspot experience! Amanda is lovely, even putting out water & a towel for my dog. The property is beautiful, and it was so nice to give my reactive dog a chance to run free. We'll definitely be making a return visit soon!

    Everything about this sniffspot is so awesome! It’s like walking in your own private forest. The trails are easy to walk and the pond is so fun for swimming. Amanda is a great host and was really helpful.

    This is an excellent location to take your pups.There is plenty of room to roam, and it is nice and private. The ponds are a really nice bonus. The dogs loved it. I will definitely be going back. Amanda is also a great host. She even has eggs and fresh produce you can buy. Great experience.

    This was an amazing place! It was slightly hard to find as Waze took me down a gravel road instead of to the house and I had no cell service (AT&T), but 110% worth it. The host had water and a towel ready for us. I will be back just so we can use the pond!
