Got a dog who thinks a walk around the block is just the warm-up? Welcome to our little piece of Khaos in Pierson. 🐾 Our three-acre play area has room to run, sniff, and explore beneath the oak trees. The agility setup is already in place: jumps, a tunnel, tires, a balance plank, a raised platform, and wood piles for dogs to investigate and work around. We’re still adding to it, but my Belgian Malinois have been happily putting the current setup through its paces. For tracking or hiking practice, we also have two additional acres of natural, undeveloped woods. The wooded area is not fenced, so dogs need to remain under their handler’s control there. The main area has four-board wooden ranch fencing with openings between the rails. Please check the fence photos to decide whether it suits your dog, particularly if they’re small or inclined to slip through gaps. Our horses live in separate pastures and are loving around dogs. Before letting your dog off leash, please be certain they won’t chase, lunge at, or try to get through the fence to the horses. If you’re unsure how your dog will react, keep them leashed and away from the pasture boundaries. My horses deserve to feel safe on their own property, too. There’s a trampoline for dogs, a separate trampoline and swing for kids, and lights for evening visits. Bring the dog with energy to burn. We know the type. 🐾

With a reservation our dogs will be put in their crates. You will have the yard to yourself. There is a pond for the dogs to swim in. There are NO gators in the pond! You are welcome to relax on the front porch of our beautiful log cabin or our front porch with lights and ceiling fans. Beautiful oak trees all around the property to provide shade for you and your pets. Several water spigots to keep your dogs hydrated.

Take the access road between Horseplay Therapy and Southeast Veterinary Hospital and the entrance will be on the right at the start of the horizontal fence. There is a combination padlock on the entrance for safety. There are multiple spigots for water and a hose available. There are 2 kiddy pools and 2 stainless water bowls available. Shaded areas as well as full sun depending on your preference. There are 2 cameras here as well as 4 motion activated lights use at dawn and dusk.
