55Secure and nice spot, lots of toys and seating, fresh water. It was easy to find and park. It's a small loop trail with trees/meadow in the middle. My 2 greyhounds had a great time!
55Such a wonderful and spacious place for your pups to roam! We have two big and high energy dogs and they had a great time. I walked the loop with them 5 or 6 times and we played with the abundance of toys that are on site! Easy to find and enter. Great safe and fully fenced place! We will be back!
55I brought my Dog Milo to Camp Echo and he had a BLAST! So many places to sniff and walk around! There were two pools available, which was a lovely touch, especially during these hot months. And so many toys to pick from. Milo had such a wonderful time and it was so lovely being able to find a spot close to home where he can run safely off leash. this spot was well kept, the directions were very easy to follow and we will sure be back!!๏ฟผ
55We love this SniffSpot. There are so many lovely toys and we appreciated the wading pool on a hot morning!
55We loved Camp Echo! The perfect mix of shaded, wooded area and natural area to explore along with some open area to throw a ball around. Our dogs loved it! We will definitely be back!!
55This is an outstanding Sniffspot. We have come many times and still love to visit. It is safe, clean and quiet with a mowed upper pasture and woods at the lower level. The covered seating area is great relaxing while my dog explores and the path surrounding the area is perfect for walks or zoomies. Thanks, Merren for sharing your property.
55Camp Echo was a lovely walk for my two ridgebacks! As soon as they got in the gate they started running and sniffing! My husband and I walked two or three laps with them. There's trees and underbrush in the middle of the space that make for good exploration. There is terrain change. The fencing is great for my large dogs. Parking was simple and ample. We were having Internet problems and got a little messed up on our way there. Maren offered us 15 extra minutes but we needed to leave for an appointment. We did get a nice bag of yummy dog treats which were very much appreciated. I will be sharing my report with my friends who live in this area
552nd time even better than the first! Weโ€™ll be back.
55Top notch spot
55Awesome sniff spot! Plenty of room to take a walk and play fetch. It was easy to find and had convenient parking. The host was helpful and communicative!

My partner Alex and I have lived in the puget sound area our whole lives. We have a sweet senior kitty, Bindi, and two wonderful pups, Echo and Xena. Both lab mixes of different sorts. They are both sensitive in their own ways, so we don't go anywhere off leash for safety. Sometimes personalities just don't match. We love sharing our home with fellow families ๐Ÿ’œ This whole process has been life changing in the best ways. I take great care in making sure everyone has an enjoyable experience. We're always looking for new toys or ways to make things more interesting for our guests. Thanks for reading! We hope to see you soon! :)

Wonderlane

On these 80 degree days this is a cool place to be. Bring your friends and their dogs too! Embark on an enchanting Pacific Northwest rainforest adventure at Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot for Dogs and Their Best Friends - Unleash your dogs and frolic with your beloved friends in the lush embrace of our hilly Pacific Northwest natural rainforest. Wonderlane beckons you and your best pals to explore 66 years of history across 2 acres of established trails, over 9 terraces, under towering old-growth trees, listening to the gentle murmur of a clear creek, accessible by your choice of 2 gates. From the parking area choose your pathโ€” the left or right trails โ€”and meander down Flying Horse Lane or Waggin' Tail Lane to The Landing Pad, where trails weave into playful circles perfect for a game of โ€˜Hide and Go Seekโ€™ or a chase! At the forest edge, the Madhatter trail invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven at our fully fenced sanctuary. For environmental reasons, the creek area is not fenced. Our hilly forested land, a tapestry of guardrails, fences, gates, natural barriers, rolling trails, springs and creeks, is a haven for play. These trails, once trodden by horses, have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now fun for paws and feet alike. Weโ€™ve nurtured this tranquil forest back to life by planting more than 600 saplings. The canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Yew, BigLeaf Maple, and Alder, filled out as soon as there was more light. These trails whisper stories of the past. In the spring, summer, and fall, lush frilly leaves decorate every breeze with greenery in motion. Wonderlane isnโ€™t just a place; itโ€™s an experienceโ€”a Sniffspot designed with your dogโ€™s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, under ferns youโ€™ll enjoy the sight of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living vista of nature. Though some wildlife is a rare sight, the forest is alive with the songs of songbirds - sparrows, finches, thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, such as majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Walk, run or pause on our soft wide paths and let the forestโ€™s secrets reveal themselves uniquely to you. Weโ€™ve spent over five years crafting this haven, just a mile from the South Sound, for you and your friends to run, walk, sit, and revel in the company of your dogs. And when the dayโ€™s adventures are done, two Starbucks await to refresh you, 3 minutes and 5 minutes away. Join our community on Facebook, by searching for โ€œWonderlane World Famous Sniffspot,โ€ or ask a warm and friendly nearby AI to direct your browser there, and watch tales of joy. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 Wonderlane is more than a walk in the woodsโ€”itโ€™s where natureโ€™s heart beats, inviting you to breathe in the peaceful air, one paw print at a time! If your dog ever hesitates to leave, a ring of the Magic Chuck Wagginโ€™ Triangle will bring them running back. We recommend bringing repellent or wearing it when you drop into the forest, and if you choose, onto the creek area. The creek is best for physically fit individuals. If you need assistance, please contact us directly. Keeping Wonderlane pristine is a collective effort, and we value your help in maintaining the beauty of our shared space. Please use the garbage bins at the top driveway entrance for disposal of any waste. Please close the hydrants completely. Press the hydrant water handle into the completely closed position after use. If the water is not pressed completely closed it affects our water system pressure. Please close every gate. Dogs must be leashed going to and coming from the parking area, and may be unleashed when entering the dog park. We rely upon guests to contact us and tell us immediately if they need anything. Enjoy the forestโ€™s magic at Wonderlane. PS if you wonder about the fencing here, some guests want the creek fenced too, which isn't possible due to environmental reasons. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. There are gates to the creek so you can control access. We continue to improve everything except the fundamentally lovely forest, creek, air, light, trees, bushes, plants, and all the birds.
