We use no pesticides, sprays or fertilizers as our lawn is wild and bee and butterfly friendly. Bunnies, raccoons and local kitties (sometimes bears and cougars) roam at night so there will be lots to smell! Large trees for shade and sniffing around in, rugged romping areas, fresh filtered drinking water, small toys (ball, frisbee etc.), digging area, clean up bags and waste basket, doggy rinse area, and of course all natural treats! We often have eagles flying overhead with song birds and even blue herons. There is seating in the shade or sun for humans and private gated entrance at the side of the house with parking. We are right across from Nymph Falls and back onto a woodlot as well. The person is welcome to use the four acres not fully fenced right next to the fenced area if they wish as well. As a dog mom with a very reactive pup, Sniffspot was always our go to when we needed to burn her energy off safely as hikes, parks, etc were not the best for our dog. Once we moved and now have a yard, I want to give back and share our space with other dogs who have special needs like ours. The yard does have a lot of branches and leaves we are clearing up, I am looking into blocking off under the deck but I haven’t had any issues with our dog who leaves it alone. Please keep off the deck as it is very slippery. Our cats may spy on you, I cannot control them. Our neighbours have dogs but they cannot access our yard. We are very new to this so feedback is always welcome. Your pets safety will always come first! *price subject to change*
