Unfenced
28 acres

****IMPORTANT : all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Come and enjoy a beautiful 1.5 km walk through mature oak and white pine forest in the Oak Hills. Our trail is wide, perfect to bring a friend and catch up while your dogs run. The trail is well-marked with excellent visibility to keep track of your dog(s). There is very little elevation gain on the walk, so it’s well-suited to take your dog(s) out for a run or a leisurely stroll. Deer sightings are common and you may even spot our resident owl or the bald eagles that nest nearby. Ample parking is available at the trail head and a Little Free Library is located at the end of our driveway. We are a short trip from both Belleville and Quinte West. *Price is in USD.

Just 15 minutes from the 401, our quiet escape is here for you and your pup(s) to roam free. Bit by bit, we are reclaiming forgotten trails and adding amenities that both you and your bffs can enjoy peacefully. We hope you enjoy the nature and beauty of our woods in rural Ontario! Future Plans: This summer (July/August 2026) we will expand by marking additional trails, a shelter / picnic area, an agility park and patches of Ontario wildflowers to add to your experience.

Jen's 100 Acre Private Dog Park and 3.5 miles of trails in Bath, Ontario.

Partially Fenced
100 acres

Daily 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. Updated April 9 2026: Spring is upon us! We've got grass, water, mud, earth, and gravel going on. The birds and frogs are going crazy 😍 The pond is suitable for dogs to swim in now, the Spot is wet is places, and the culvert is full of water too. This is also suitable for dogs to swim. With spring comes ticks so please take suitable precautions. General description: Currently, we have 4 official walking trails (3.5 miles approximately). Two of these are groomed trails, plus 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. In warmer months, the main trail and playing fields are cut short if you wish to avoid longish grass. We also offer 2 wooded walking trails, one short and one long. We keep the main trail plowed all winter, and side trails if the snow isn't too deep or heavy. We have chairs available in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit and balls available, fresh well water, bowls, and a garbage can in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. Be advised that in spring and summer there are geese and ducks that nest there; muskrats and/or otters year round - please prevent your dogs from harassing the wildlife. I don't recommend the pond for swimming for humans at all and only for dogs in the spring until late May, but dogs swim in there all summer and fall; it's your choice. In winter, the pond poses a danger. Please don't allow people or dogs to go on to the ice. There will be a warning sign in winter. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and woods. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. You can often see deer, wild turkeys, vultures, and lots of other birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Part way back the main trail goes through a shallow marsh. In the spring the frogs singing is quite remarkable! Further along there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming when it is filled with water. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. Just past the culvert, there are 2 fields going East that are planted with winter wheat. We have trails cut around these that go along woods and takes about 15 minutes, ending back on the main trail. If you just travel along the main trail you will reach the big hill. There is a tree stand at the bottom of this hill that has a deer trail camera on the stair railing facing up the west side of the hill. Going East at the base of the hill is the entrance to The Shady Trail, a nice short trail going through the cedars. The entrance is marked with orange tape and an arrow. This trail ends at a small field with a deer stand in it, a red arrow marks the way back to the main trail. In and back would take about 10 minutes. Part way up this trail, you can take a side trail into the woods and follow the markers from there. Part way up the big hill, there is an entrance to the wooded trails. This marked trail meanders through the woods for about a mile, exiting at the top of the big hill, which is also marked with orange tape and an arrow. The main trail ends at the top of the big hill where you will see a Stop sign. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the side trails, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. During spring and summer, prepare for ticks and insects. Wear hats and appropriate insect repellent. ** The main trail can be icy in spots in winter so wear appropriate boots. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags if you can. *Please remove your dogs' poop wherever they go!* *No smoking on the property* ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD, $11 per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $5.50/hour. On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit!
