55This was the perfect place to stumble upon on while driving through Rigby. Beautiful, large property, with lots of room to run. An emailed vaccination record and signed waiver ( located on a clipboard attached to the entrance gate ) are required.
55Brought my senior foster dog today and he loved it! I’ve brought my 3 other dogs here and today it was his turn. Blaze is a lab mix ~ 10 years old with Cushing’s disease. Basic movement hasn’t been easy for him so it was pretty amazing that there was still plenty for us to use with him. He got in some great stretches going up inclines, did some great hopping up on the hay bales, and mastered the wobbly platforms. This place is a big win for me and my dogs! Has a lot for all of them to do, from the most to least agile.
55Second visit and it was just as glorious as the first. Came with my other dog, dog friend, sister, niece (2) and nephew (11). The dogs were entertained and active the whole time. The kids had plenty to play with as well and could engage with training the dogs to use the different obstacles. Extremely friendly spot for dogs and humans of all sizes.
55Fantastic spot! My 2 dogs are amateurs in the ways of obstacles and parkour but there was still plenty that was accessible for them. I’m excited to work them up to the harder challenges. My dogs were exhausted and ready to snooze by the time our hour was up. Finding the place was easy. Signage is on the road and on the gate visible from the driveway. The spot had plenty of water, poop bags, and shareable toys. Fencing and gates were secure and easily useable. Perfect spot for dogs of all sizes and ages! I will be back again and again.

Description

Idaho Barks and Recreation is a dog parkour course located outside of Rigby just north of Idaho Falls. The dog park is a one-of-a-kind, fully fenced, 2 acre facility with 22 dog friendly parkour obstacles. This park is designed for you and your pet to build a stronger bond while your dog improves their decision making, confidence, strength, balance and agility. The park is a great place to train your dog without distractions or other dogs, for rehabbing your pet or for personalized skills training. There is also enough room for frisbee training. We require owners and handlers to set an appointment which are one hour long sessions. The fee for an hour is $15. You can bring additional dogs at a 50% discounted rate through Sniffspot. Before entering the park, we require a copy of your pet's current DHLPP and Rabies vaccination records which can email to [email protected]. Please call 208-709-4793 if you have any questions.
