Please don't let the dogs dig holes; this was the first time my guest did this, so I prefer to state the rules upfront. Branches are for the dogs to play with. Please respect the host's property, plants, and beehives. The ladies' sanctuary is generally quiet unless repeatedly disturbed, and my two dogs get along well with them. If a bite occurs, please contact me immediately. As long as you love animals and respect each other, you are very welcome to visit. Thank you for enjoying your time alone with your dogs.

Come visit our beautiful spot out in the historical Cumberland Homesteads! Set on 20 acres with a 1935 original homestead house, your fur babies will be able to run and play to their heart's content! This spot is very wide open and peaceful with beautiful scenery. During the summer months, feel free to pick blackberries that grow all along the backside of the field, either to take or enjoy during your stay; Great treat for your fur babies also ;) ! During the fall you will have an amazing view of the entire woodline trees changing colors, and in winter months enjoy the beautiful mountain view that is more visible as the trees start to lose their leaves! You can walk the entire field, explore, and enjoy the peace with your babies! The woods are part of the property, so if you'd like to explore and hike the woods, feel free! There is a small creek that runs through the woods that flows really well after a good rain. You may also see a few deer in the morning or evening! Feel free to set up your lawn chairs and just relax while your babies run wild!

Martha's Private 5 Acre Unfenced Forest & Field Lenoir City
Drive up our hill driveway and enter a secluded area for your dog to run, play, and explore. There is an open field/grass area in our front yard, a smaller area in our backyard, and then 5 full wooded acres with a smaller trail for you and your pup to explore. Other dogs are not visible, every once in awhile if the wind carries just right, you may hear a dog a mile or so away. Deer and rabbit are sometimes spotted. Other homes are only visible partially when there are no leaves on the trees, but our closest neighbors are not within yelling distance, making for a beautiful secluded experience. Our fire pit is a great place to hang out, with Adirondack chairs to lounge on. A water spigot in the back is available to refresh your dog’s water bowel.
