25The property is currently under construction, which was not communicated before we made our reservation. It would have been helpful to know about the construction in advance. There was no construction work happening while we were there, but a large excavator was parked at an angle on the hill, and there was a fabric-like temporary fence around part of the yard. At first, we were unsure whether we were even supposed to enter the area. We had visited this spot last summer and had a great experience, which is why we decided to book it again. On our previous visit, the path leading to the water stream was clearly maintained and easy to follow. This time, however, the grass was very overgrown, and we could not find the path to the stream. I reached out to the host for help because we couldn't find a way to the stream, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response. We eventually went around to the other side, which seemed to provide the easiest access to the water, and entered the stream from there. After spending some time in the water, we came back out through the least overgrown area near the end of the property. However, that area also had the temporary fabric fencing, which made it difficult to use. We really enjoyed this spot last summer and were looking forward to coming back, so this visit was quite disappointing. I hope the property will be better maintained and that guests will be informed about the ongoing construction and any access changes before booking.
25The property was beautiful. The property is very close to the main road and side road which made us very paranoid. My original reservation was reschedule and shortened due to construction so the property did have some construction materials and vehicles on the property so it didn’t really feel safe. The front yard is small, the creek is nice we did not know how to properly get there due to construction, so it seemed hazardous. We did not see can actual path to get to the shallow end of the creek so be prepared for thorns. The trail is also off one of the roads in front of the neighbors house, and it’s very short. Their house is actually right there, So we felt a bit watched. Not as private as it claims to be.

Give your pup a cool break at our 4 acre partially fenced private dog park over 100 meters from the street with water, grass, woods and more! Human friends can take a break in the shade and watch for some of the magnificent birds that also visit the river while your pup is having the time of it’s life. Private parking onsite. *** This is a “carry in carry out” “park!” Please take your poop bags. I cannot have all the poop :) There is a park with a garbage bag 200 yards from my house if you want to dispose of it quickly. Right out of my driveway, 200 yards on your left. Pull over and toss the bag into the garbage there. **Back patio is off limits. It is not fenced but please respect this space, tables, chairs, etc., as my private space and refrain from sitting/lounging. Please also refrain from using the swing set. Please do your best to keep pups from running through any plantings! ** update - pool is strictly off limits for dogs and human guests. Please do not go in or near pool area. No guests are allowed in that area. Please respect the rules so we can continue to offer the river, grassy areas and wooded areas to Sniffspot guests! All other space in front yard near the river and backyard grassy area and woods are available to explore! ***I have recently found a lot of poop in my yard. You MUST clean up after your dogs. If it continues I will have to shut down my spot. Please keep a watchful eye on your dogs and clean up their poop. I cannot police the yard after every visitor and clean up their poop. Be respectful of the Sniffspot community and just in general have respect and clean up after your dogs!!!

Come play on our fully fenced acre! We have a nice grassy yard in addition to some beautiful woods where a dog can roam and sniff—all within our fence. We have a friendly 1yr old golden retriever who may peek through the windows from time to time. Our fence is 4ft aluminum in the front and 6ft chain link along the sides and back. Feel free to park in our driveway—street parking is also available. We just ask that you don’t block the garage. We do have a folding chair out there, but if you need more seating, feel free to uncover the back patio furniture. Please just re-cover when done. Enjoy!!

We used to have a dog that climbed/jumped over 8’ fences so there are extra wires at the top to prevent escapes. The bottom is also secured to the ground with extra staples so no one can dig out either. Absolutely no new dog-to-dog introductions can occur at this spot.
