55Sarah left a welcome note which was a nice touch.
55My dog had a great time in this yard! I appreciated the toy that was left out for us as my dog loved chasing it
55I have been to many Sniffspots though this was my first time at this spot and I have to say that it's now one of my favorites!! It's a city locale so it's not a huge lot but the layout allows for any dog to run and romp. They even have cute little structures for the dog to peruse. As an added bonus your visit comes with a tray of dog treats, a poop bag, hand sanitizer and a personal note. You can just tell they are very kind souls. In short, highly recommended.
55Nice, quiet and clean yard with lots of plants that Honey enjoyed sniffing. There was fresh water and a welcome plate with a bone, ball, treats, hand sanitizer and welcome note. Great first experience with Sniffspot!
55Very nice amenities, easy entrance, lots of stuff to do, beautiful garden and birds to look at :)
55We had a great time and will be back!
55What a beautiful little space! Sarah left us a sweet note and some treats and poop bags. It’s a beautifully cared for yard with lots of great things for pups to do. The dogs had a blast and got to use their little dachshund noses to their hearts content. Thank you so much!
55Rowan had a great time sniffing all the plants and rolling in them! There were several dogs barking so if that's a concern maybe not for you but the space was perfect for a small dog exploring.

Description

We love watching our dogs frolic throughout our large yard and want to share our enjoyable spot with you! Sit back in an Adirondack chair on our umbrella-shaded patio and watch your furry friends explore our fun, variety-filled back lot. From a flower patch to sniff around, to black walnut trees for chasing squirrels into, there's a lot to see and do. It's common to see chipmunks exploring the maze we built them, plus Cardinals and Chickadees enjoying our multiple feeders. A nature lover's slice of heaven, right in Mac-Grove! Park right out front of our big gray home and take the sidewalk to the north (right) of the house on back to the gate.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There are a ton of plants! Which we love. I can't vouch for ever single leaf's toxicity on the property but our two dogs have sniffed probably every square inch and haven't had any trouble.

Welcome to Sully’s Sniffspot! We are excited to share our yard with you and your furry friends! When you arrive, come through the gate to the fully fenced (chain link, 4' tall) backyard where your dog(s) can run and play! There is a steep hill with cement stairs (no handrail) and lots of trees and plants to explore. There are dog balls scattered around the yard. I’ll leave out a water bowl and jug of water. There are waste bags in the plastic bin by the window for your use and a trash can by the gate. Please make yourself comfortable on the patio and kids are welcome to play. For the shy, fearful or reactive dogs: Our neighbors on the north side of us (the side with the short trees along the fence) have two kids who might come up to the fence to talk and try to pet your dog without asking first. We have tried teaching dog safety but this has not helped. If you have a human/kid reactive dog, weekdays before 2:30 during the school year are going to be the best time for you to come. I will update this if the situation changes. Other neighbors are occasionally outside but keep to themselves when guests are here. Our immediate neighbors do not have dogs. There might be people walking their dogs on the street. There are dogs across the street and a few houses down who are occasionally in their yard and can be seen from the hill in our yard. Our dog will be inside and not visible from the back yard when you’re here. Foster dogs: Reach out if you have a foster dog and the cost is a barrier for you. Please send a message if you have questions or if I can do anything to make your visit more enjoyable.

Oak Ridge Private Dog Park- Prior Lake

Welcome from the Oak Ridge Standard Poodles and their humans! We invite you to stop by and visit! The yard is fully enclosed with a 6 foot bamboo privacy fence and there is plenty of room to run and play. You'll have full access to a yard level deck, two patios, and a fire pit. There are chairs and tables in various spots year round. When the weather allows, there are additional items including a sectional couch, dog cots, and hammocks as well as lawn games and a speaker/radio upon request. During your visit, you'll have access to a freshly filled gravity water bowl, dog treats, a few toys, towels, wipes, and more! There will be regular sized poop bags as well as larger plastic bags for any cleanup needs you may have. We also provide bottled water for the humans as well as sanitizer if needed. The resident dogs cannot see you from anywhere in the yard, even if your pups wander to the top of the stairs. You may hear neighborhood children at the nearby park. One of our next door neighbors has dogs that could be outside in their fenced yard and may see you upon arrival. However, once you are inside the sniff spot, those dogs will not be able to see you. Guest Wi-Fi: Network-sniffspot Password-sniffspot Parking/Security- We strongly prefer that you pull into the driveway and park on the left side close to the house/garage. Once parked, this area is not visible to our dogs from inside the home, which means they are less likely to bark hello greetings. 🐩 It also means the curious/friendly/inquisitive neighbors will not approach you. Gated access to the sniff spot is on the left side of our home just a few feet from the designated/recommended parking area. The gate is secured with a lock that is opened with a code. You may wish to unlock the gate first and then get your pup out of the vehicle. Security cameras monitor all outdoor spaces. We look forward to your visit and welcome any recommendations in order to make the Oak Ridge Sniff Spot your go-to destination! 🐩
