Sully’s Sniffspot In West Saint Paul

Welcome to Sully’s Sniffspot! We are excited to share our yard with you and your furry friend! When you arrive, come through the gate to the fully fenced (chain link, 4' tall) backyard where your furry friend can run and play! There is a steep hill with cement stairs (no handrail) and lots of trees and plants to explore. There are dog toys scattered around the yard - see if your pup can find them in the snow! 1/4/23 updates: With the recent snow, the 4' fence is covered by 2 - 3' of snow. As the winter goes on, I will dig out the areas that are most concerning within a couple days of snowfall. (This shouldn't be a problem for smaller dogs or those who don't try to escape.) I also cleared a short walking path in the yard for the shorter pups. For the shy, fearful or reactive dogs: Our neighbors are rarely out in the winter. We might see one man behind us and the couple next to us when they go to/from their cars or shovel, but that’s rare. Other dogs are not visible from the backyard, except for the occasional person walking their dog on the street. We foster dogs and have a child and will keep them inside and not visible from the back yard when you’re here. In the summer, neighbors are out a little more but not much. Foster dogs: reach out if you have a foster dog and the cost is a barrier for you. For the humans: make yourself comfortable on the patio. We keep it as clear of snow as possible in the winter. There is seating and a table. If the wooden bench is tipped on its end, feel free to tip it down and use it. We tip it over so it doesn't get full of snow. Kids are welcome to play with toys in the yard and go sledding.

Fully gated area, you can park inside the back. Highly recommend messaging the host early as you can to coordinate the visit. Very friendly host! Nice back yard fully fenced and no other pets! Close to downtown and 94!

Tinaisha’s place is fantastic. The yard is big enough to tire out my German shepherd after 45 minutes of fetch. The yard is kept clean and safe. Lastly, Tinaisha is a great host! My dog and I will definitely be back.

This is a nice sized yard with easy access to a private entrance. I was able to meet the hosts and they were all very nice and accommodating. A bonus for me was that it was only a 12 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis.

The yard was nicely enclosed with a high fence, and the area felt private and enclosed. It was a great space for my rescue dog to explore, sniff, and play fetch. There was also a water bowl and chairs, a nice touch! The surrounding area was nice to explore too, with a nearby park. Parking was easy and convenient, and the entrance was easy to find. We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely, mostly shaded yard! Had a box full of toys that my dog loved! There is a nice sitting area with chairs and a hammock. Fully fenced and felt cozy and safe. There are two holes in the yard that my dog tried to dig in, so if you don’t want your dog getting dusty from two dirt holes, I don’t recommend. But otherwise it was so lovely.

My dog enjoyed the yard! The fence was high enough to prevent him jumping over and the toy selection was nice

Sid is great with dogs! I have a dog that suffered a trauma and she’s aggressively scared of humans. Sid understands how to approach and win over scared doggies. She’s great! Not long after we arrived my dog was comfortable with Sid and her two nice doggos and they teared around the big yard together! It’s a great yard for sniffers! We’ll be back often!

Nice big yard! I can’t wait to see it when there’s less snow. There is a lot of traffic in the street and a lot of dogs on leashes passed by and there are quite a few neighborhood dogs. It wasn’t an issue for us but more reactive dove may have issues.

Sid is friendly and kind, and has a great yard for pups to run around in! Due to the season, it was a little icy out so take caution when chasing after balls with your pup.

Sid's yard is great for a medium-sized dog to run. My dog Jin had a great time exploring the whole yard and loved playing fetch with one the squeaky toy balls already there. A little precarious in winter conditions in some spots (some small objects frozen into the snow, etc), but a large portion of the yard is a clear area for running and playing. The main street on one side can be busy with traffic and I saw one passing dog walker in my time there, but the yard was large enough that it was fairly easy to ignore. Off street parking is a major plus as well. We will be back to frolic in the snow, and I'm sure the warmer months will be even lovelier.

We had a great time at Sid's! The yard was great for running around and playing. There were lots of fun sights and sounds from wind chimes which my dog enjoyed watching and listening to. I was concerned about it being in a busier street, but we didn't see anyone walk by while we there, let alone any other dogs. We will be visiting again!

Great yard with lots of room to run and sniff! Nice to have off street parking. Fresh water. Owner was very sweet, definitely an animal lover. Didn't hear her dogs inside. Toys and sticks for Fletcher to play with. Comfy swing for me to sit in while he smelled everything.

Huge backyard with a fun bucket of toys (my pup loved the bone) and a bunch of space to sniff around. You might be able to hear the owners pup but you won’t see it. Also parking that’s not on the street!!! The owner is very nice and has water and poop bags as well.

Had a blast bringing my foster dog here so we could play fetch! Definitely some gaps that little dogs could squeeze through if they really wanted to. There is lots of rabbit poo and since my dog can’t resist, we had to cut the visit short. Once my dog knows not to eat the forbidden nuggets, we will definitely be back!

Very easy to find and very quiet neighborhood. I didn’t see any of the neighbors dogs. Space was clean and cute!

Just as advertised. Since crossing st. Clair can be tricky, if you’re driving westbound, I’d recommend parking in back.
