55What a wonderful place to visit. Host is very nice and the yard is spacious.
55The best Sniffspot we have visited!
55Best sniff spot around
55Great clean flat spot
55Always clean and nicely kept. Fresh water. Quiet setting. Polite and friendly host. Very enjoyable. We’ll definitely visit again.
55This place is heavenly. Wide open grassy space with shady trees all along the border. A couple of benches to sit on, toys and fresh water and a friendly host. Me and my dog had such a good time there. We’re definitely going back soon!
55We’re so glad we chose Robyn’s property to have our very first SniffSpot experience! Robyn is very friendly and provides guests with dog toys (cleaned between guests), poop bags, a couple folding chairs, and water bowls/buckets for the pups. The yard is large, well-kept, and securely fenced. My dog and her two dog friends had a blast in our hour! It was a great experience to be in a new yard with all new smells to sniff! We will be back before Robyn retires her property from SniffSpot in late April.
55Best sniff spot !
55Always a lovely spot. It was sunny during our visit and we loved hanging out in the sunshine.
55This place is wonderful and since we are locals we will definitely be back soon. So we'll maintained and we really appreciate the sanitization of all toys! Thank you for opening your home to all of us!

Pig Beach (near Port Ludlow)

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry.
