***IMPORTANT: All prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** This is a private hobby horse farm in Metchosin. I have a large field that would be a great spot to let your dog run free. I have a 120x60 foot sand ring for and use is by special request only. Water access hose in the corner of fields. Small swing on tree. Outhouse access behind small shed over by the barn. Please pick up after your pet. Respect the property and use the garbage cans provided

HOST NOTE

Horses in the back paddock away from field. If the gate to the back paddock is ever open, just close it please. That way the horses don’t commode into the big field when you’re there. They are probably just hanging around the barn as they are afraid of new people on the property.

Sand Riding ring 120x60 foot flat area behind the barn for flat training. Can set up jumps or dog equipment (bring your own).

No Smoking on the property as this is a hay field. Please be respectful of people and property. If booking ring please text as I like to meet my guests the first time as access is through my barn.

The field is spacious, grassy, and fully enclosed, making it ideal for exercise, training, or simply letting your dog stretch their legs. Easy parking is available right at the entrance for convenient access. While the field is visible from the road, there are no visible animals nearby, making it a calm and distraction-free space for most dogs. Neighbourhood note: A Department of National Defence rifle range operates nearby on Wallace Drive, and occasional training sounds may sometimes be heard. Our dogs, farm animals, and most visiting dogs are comfortable with this environment, but very noise-sensitive dogs may find this challenging. ****IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD so it is around 15 canadian*** Enclosed farm field. Space includes a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site is now located in an outhouse close to where you park your car. Please let us know if it needs cleaning it is checked throughout the day. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There is a barn hose if you need water text or call glenn 2508962860. There are a few seniors visiting with mobility issues which is taken into consideration when there is poop left behind. You can always message me and let me know a general area and I can try to run out and pick it up between the next visit. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Not a spot recommended for small dogs. Please keep dogs leashed until you are in the designated enclosed area. There is a 30 minute gap between bookings so you dont run into a dog leaving the field. 29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner. People and dogs may be walking on the path outside the fence. We have no control over this. This is a farm, not a park! There are no walking paths, and depending on the time of year, pasture grasses may be very high (especially in spring.) Hay mowing doesn’t usually start until late May. I recommend wearing boots and bringing a towel to wipe your dog’s feet.
