The grass was very long and there were poop piles everywhere outside. There were several gaps in the fence my 80lb dog could crawl under if he wanted to. The owner came outside even though we had asked her not to because we were training our dog. Thankfully he was still leashed when she came outside. There are two large dogs on the property that can be seen and heard. There is also a chain link fence with a neighboring dog and two cats.
Host replied: The grass was not “very long”. I had it cut 2 days prior to your visit. You also mentioned that there was 2 dogs on the property which can be “seen and heard”. That’s is not true at all because I have 1 German shepherd and he was away from all of the windows so not quite sure how you were able to see him. You might have heard him bark because dogs bark that’s what they do. The gaps are not big enough for a 80lb dog to crawl through if that’s were the case then I would have lost my dog many times because he likes to run. So I’m not sure where ur getting that from either. And as for the neighbors dogs and cats I have no control over them, they are in their own property doing their own thing. The fence separates them from my property so they could not have come near you in any way. Again I don’t know what you want me to do there.
The yard was large and very lovely. Plenty of room to play and roam. The fencing was secure for my large dog. The grass was cut. There were places to sit and a hammock. The resident dog was inside the house and although we could hear them bark at times, we didn’t see them. There were a couple dog poops near the entrance.
Sturdy fencing all around, clean and spacious, two separate entrances so it’s easily accessible, and plenty of on street parking. My pup enjoyed himself very much!
