Welcome to our peaceful one-acre property, perfect for dogs that love space, exercise, and water. The fenced pool and patio area provide a secure place for dogs to play, relax, and cool off in our inground pool. Outside the fenced pool area is a large open lawn with plenty of room to run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Please note that the one-acre lawn is not fully fenced, so dogs should have reliable recall or remain on a long lead. Owners can relax on the patio while their dogs enjoy the yard and pool. Each reservation includes up to two human guests. To help maintain a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone and manage occupancy, additional guests are welcome for an added fee per person. Welcome to The Packground: a private, low-pressure yard in Palatine built for dogs who need room to sniff, stretch, play, and decompress without the chaos of a public dog park. This spot is best for solo dogs, small packs, puppies, nervous dogs, city/suburban dogs who need a reset, and owners who want a calmer off-leash option. Book the space for fetch, training practice, decompression time, puppy confidence-building, or a quiet sniff session. The yard is private during your booking. Please leash dogs when entering and exiting, clean up after your visit, and leave the space as you found it. Water, seating, trash access, and basic dog-friendly setup are available where noted in the listing. This is the first version of The Packground, so feedback is welcome as we keep improving the space for repeat guests.

This fully fenced in 0.25 acre yard is attached to our Dog Training studio in Hoffman Estates. It is available for use when we're closed. It is only available after 6:30pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation. The yard is well lit for night trips!

Take a dip in the creek! Beautiful secluded acreage with mature trees

Beautiful secluded property with a creek running through it. The backyard is about 1 acre with a big open field surrounded by large mature trees and a creek bordering the back side. Dogs must be trained not to run off as we do not have a fence. Old fence posts show the property lines. You can to take a dip in the creek with your dog to cool off on hot days. The water does flow so I wouldn't recommend it for really small dogs. The water is fairly shallow but can get high and flow fast after heavy rain. You will have to walk down a small hill to enter the creek. The weeds get high by the water but I have made 2 separate paths to enter the creek. Entering the creek is at your own risk. The creek is on the property line so the land across the creek is not part of the property so please do not go across the creek. If you do plan on going in the creek I recommend water shoes and a towel, it can get muddy by the water. And it can also get buggy, so you might want to bring bug spray as well. Feel free to move any of the chairs from the firepit to anywhere around the yard but put back when finished. Please clean up after your pup, garbage can is the green one by the garage. You can park on the left side of driveway by the RV and enter on the left side of the garage.
