im a rover pet sitter, so i understand the desire to have a private place to take your pups to get energy out or just hang where there aren't 10 other unpredictable dogs running around! we recently moved into this house and im excited to finally be able to offer my fenced backyard as a private spot for a few other furry friends 💛

The Hillside Sniffspot

We would like to welcome you to a 2 acre, fully fenced dog yard that is on a hillside. The fence is 4 ft tall all the way around and safe for dogs, big and small. It's a natural space for the dogs to run, dig, sniff, or just sunbathe. It can be a bit steep in some areas and the Josephine road can be tricky when the weather gets icy. Bring a chair or wander through the trees and let your dog explore. The area is part forest and if you follow the top fence, it will take you over to a small, open field. We plan on keeping it natural so the dogs can enjoy the untouched habitat.

Situation in Crestwood, KY, we have 4 acres of land for the doggos to run around on! Then the pup can take a dip in the pond, remember to bring a towel! Water hose is available if you wanna spray them off for the ride back! Two medium size pups do reside on property, Josie and Levy. You might see them peeking through the windows, but you will definitely hear them bark. The neighbors have geese and chickens, they are fenced off from us but you can see and hear them.

This spot is private, designed for safe off-leash play, sniffing, and relaxing whether your dog needs room to run or just a new place to explore at their own pace. What makes our spot special: * 15 acres! Some is field some is wooded * Clean, regularly maintained space * Fresh water available * Shade, trails, and a shallow pond that is swimmable for your pup. (It’s only roughly 4ft deep) A few things to know before you arrive: * Please pick up after your dog (bags provided) * No aggressive dogs unless pre-approved(don’t be shy let’s talk about it!) * Be respectful of neighbors and keep noise reasonable * Parking is available in our driveway We want every visit to be safe, calm, and fun for both dogs and humans. Kick back and relax while watching your dog let loose at a fun, canine playground. It features a new, 6 foot privacy fence (no escape spots) and a locking gate with a private entrance. We have plenty of patio furniture, including rockers, that you can lounge in while letting your pup run. It is shaded by a large umbrella, too. The yard is grass with two shade trees, a hose, and clean bowl. It also features a 16 ft. agility tunnel and 4 adjustible, breakaway/safe jumps if you'd like to see if your dog will be the next National agility champion. There are no dogs in adjacent yards to bark at you either. We also include toys, a Chuck-it with balls, a flirt pole, a waste can with bags/scooper, early/late visit times once it gets really hot out, and soon, a mister system for all of you to enjoy. The spot is clean and mowed! It is fairly flat and open, other than a little fire pit! There will be a basket of toys for your little ones. I will provide poop bags, trash, water and a water bowl as well! Spot will be unavailable on most work days due to working schedules and wanting to ensure your sniff time is perfect! Please excuse any wasp/hornet preventing measures being taken (decoy wasp nests, peppermint spray, etc.). All measures will be 100% dog/animal friendly. We want to ensure all guests have a pest free visit!
