Description

Fully fenced yard with +6ft fencing. No gaps in beteeen the fence so it is totally cut off from any sight into other yards. There is one small dog that very rarely is outside but it’s never for long. And we have wood panels pushed up under the fence so there’s no way for any dogs that are in my yard to see it be near anybody’s in surrounding yards. I also have two kiddie pools (one for small breed) and one 71inch pool for any large breed dogs that would like to go in the water to play. I have plenty of toys and balls to keep them busy and a doggy bed covered outside. I myself have a reactive dog so I am well aware of the protocol for them. My dog would be with me out away in my room so there would be no chance of your dog seeing or hearing mine. My backyard is VERY well shaded as we have tonssss of trees out back to provide shade and chairs for anyone who wants to sit. It truly is the perfect yard for all your reactive dogs needs and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!! **I’ll also be including more pictures of the backyard in the next few hours to give a better look into it**

I do have pea gravel in certain areas near the trees and house so if your dog is a known “rock eater” you’ll want to keep an eye out on that. But if you would like to message me ahead of time should that be a real concern of yours/your dogs, I’m more than happy to go out before the time slot you guys have reserved and so my best to cover those areas up so your dog cannot get at them.

Please be sure to pick up after your dogs. I will have poop bags available for use if needed, but I do ask that you bring your own if you have them at home to save the ones provided for people that manage forgotten them or didn’t bring enough. Of course though, should you forget yours, by all means please use the ones provided.

Quiet .7 Acre, Fully Fenced, Private Yard In Elgin

Our spot is on a large corner lot on a dead-end street in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. We have one nextdoor neighbor who has no pets, and we have large privacy trees between us. The yard is shaded with established trees, and roughly three quarters of an acre are fenced in with a ranch style wooden fence (the lowest rung is 6 inches above the ground, so our spot is not suitable for tiny dogs who might want to run underneath). The yard is not close to the road, but people occasionally walk by and are visible. We have lots of squirrels and chipmunks to chase. It's a great spot for reactive dogs who need to run or nap in a sun-dappled space and don't do well at a traditional social dog park. We have a large vegetable garden and do not use pesticides in the yard to protect our pollinator friends. Our cozy deck is available with comfortable seating, tables, and wifi. I work from home and am often around if you happen to need anything. We do have a rescued 7 year old pup on the premises, but he will stay inside and away from windows. Come on in and make yourselves at home!
