Hello fellow pet parents! We have a total of three lush green acres available for your beloved pet friends to explore. The space is fully-fenced. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. We’ve tried to think of all the little details to make your visit easy and enjoyable, including trail maps with distances, fresh drinking water for both you and your dog, towels for muddy paws or wet fur, and easy parking on asphalt. We’re dog lovers ourselves and have two rescue pups who will be safely secured inside our home during your reserved time so you can enjoy uninterrupted access to the property. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car beds, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including tons of tennis balls, and several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

If there’s something you need, we are flexible, just let us know! Come let your dog romp around my historic home in my fenced acre back-yard. Sit in the tree swing or relax on the bench. Refreshing for dogs and humans! Home adjacent to Goshen Branch Stream Valley Park. Lots of open space and privacy. Help yourself to toys, poop dogs, and water for the dogs inside the smokehouse. Fresh water is put out frequently (as long as I'm in town!!)My yard is best for dogs that are NOT reactive. MY YARD IS NOT THE BEST CHOICE FOR DOGS DETERMINED TO ESCAPE! I have neighbors who use their back yards and have pets and children!

Acres of fun

I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!
