55Beautiful area. Zero areas where dogs could get through the fences. Signs posted for directions for easy navigating.
55Great place, our dogs burned up the energy they needed to. If you know anything about Belgian Malinois high energy. They swam, played ball, did jumps. Now they're sleeping peacefully. Mom gets a break now.
55It's a great spot for a good walk through some wooded trails, a dip in the fresh creek, and some fresh air. My pups love it and so do we! Definitely be back again and again

“We have renters in the house to the right of the property line that may have their dogs out in their yard as well (2 Goldens). Their dog fence does not meet our fence but if your dog is reactive you may want to walk to the left of this area. My dogs may bark from inside my house also if they can see you in the field.”

Description

Has your dog become a couch potato? Bring it on out for some good conditioning. Recommended for hunting/sporting dogs and large dogs, we have 100+ acres fenced in with 10' tall fence. Owner will need to walk with their dog (off leash of course) since sight of your dog is limited. The property includes a creek that runs across the front of the property, crop fields (currently soybeans), wooded areas, wetland, and some gentle hills. You can walk the perimeter of the fence and down many trails. It takes me about 40 minutes to walk the front part of the perimeter I cover with my dogs. There is a pond but due to the heat, it is currently covered in algae. Your dog will have access to the creek for drinking, swimming, and playing in. There are a few plastic Adirondack chairs set out for resting. Depending on the time of day, you may hear and/or see my dogs and our rental house occupants dogs. There will be no other dogs inside the fenced area when you visit. This is also in a farming area, so you may hear livestock from neighboring farms. I cannot guarantee that your dog will be clean or stick-tight free when leaving but they will have fun and be tired. This is a great spot for conditioning your upland bird dog before hunting season. No shooting or hunting on our property.

HOST NOTE

This is an old farm. There is one area marked on the map and on signs that contain hazards such as fencing supplies, wood piles, old farm debris, etc. Just try to keep the dogs out of there and walk on past. We have done our best to remove any hazards because our dogs run this farm too, but there may be old fences and posts to watch for. There are also holes from woodchucks and uneven ground in places. If we have had rain, I would suggest wearing boots. And since you will be walking through grasses and woods, check for ticks when you are done.
