Lots of trails - some maintained some unmaintained - choose your own adventure or we can point you in the direction of our favorites. Great if you want to let your dog off leash hike but don’t want to risk running into any other dogs - we have 80 acres and no neighbors and a private road! I have 2 dogs who will stay inside while you’re here, we have a fenced area right by the house we use for them/ this can be booked upon request but is generally just for our dogs. Fond Fawn Farm 8 Acre Orchard Pond & Creek Doggie Nirvana

Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers). Located in the Narrowsburg general district walking distance to Main Street. We are on a dead end street and the southern part of the property abuts a 60 degree incline hill. The dog run is in a forest of trees, some live, some dead. The area is mostly flat, but the ground contains rocks, tree roots, grass, dirt and tree limbs. We have a Wigwam and a Tipi which contain dry bathrooms and cooking, and refrigeration facilities.
