15After coming here for several years, things devolved rapidly in the last few months. There had always been issues of people being at the property during my allotted time - landscapers, furniture deliveries, guests coming and going, once someone stopped partway down the driveway while I was there with my 2 German shepherds. I never wanted to leave a bad review because it’s such a beautiful property and I was taking my dog there several times a week. Up until about a year ago, Andrew was always responsive through the app, and would apologize and offer a credit. But he completely stopped responding a year or so ago. So it was just a crapshoot to go and hope all would work out. My friend was there a couple of months ago and had a horrible expensive. A man was on the property and her German shepherds were out and of course started barking at him. She tried to explain that she had paid for this time but he threatened to out her dog down if it bit him. Then the wife came out and screamed and yelled at my friend. Cursing and telling her to leave. I went a couple of times and I think they were away and that was great. But then I showed up and luckily didn’t let my dogs out right away and got out and saw people in the pool. The woman told he to leave. I told her I booked the time. She said her husband was schizophrenic and she did not want the booking. I left. I tried one more time. Everything was fine until the end. They have a pool on the property with a fence that is part chicken wire and it is rolled partway open on one side. Suddenly I heard someone screaming and saw this woman coming toward me. I yelled for my dogs and they of course ran towards her barking because she was screaming and yelling and telling me she was going to call the police! I said what did I do? She said your dog went in my pool! I said I didn’t see that. But obviously with the chicken wire open it wasn’t shocking. I apologized. She kept cursing and said she was calling the police. I left shaking. My friend was so upset about her experience she had to take the rest of the day off of work. I see they finally canceled this listing. A shame that this woman is insane and who knows what’s going on with the husband because it was such a nice spot.
15very upsetting experience with a confirmed Sniffspot reservation in Wilton today. I booked the spot for 10:30 AM using my free/trial credits and also paid an additional amount required for the reservation. I arrived exactly at my scheduled time and notified the host that I was there. Only a few minutes into my reserved hour, a woman from the property approached me and began shouting and yelling at me, repeatedly threatening to call the police if I did not leave. I calmly explained that I had a confirmed and paid Sniffspot reservation and was there during my scheduled time. She told me that her husband had put the property on Sniffspot, but that they did not want to be a Sniffspot. Because of the confrontation and repeated threats to call the police, I had no reasonable choice but to leave almost immediately. I therefore did not receive the hour of private use that I booked and paid for, despite following the reservation instructions, arriving on time, and notifying the host. The entire situation was extremely stressful and distressing for both me and my dog. The woman was genuinely shouting and yelling at us, and what was supposed to be a peaceful and enjoyable Sunday morning walk instead left both of us very shaken and distressed for much of the day afterward. I had also traveled a considerable distance specifically to bring my dog to this location. I am also concerned about the safety of this listing. The woman at the property clearly appeared unaware or unprepared for a Sniffspot guest to be there despite the reservation being confirmed. This situation could potentially become much more serious if another guest arrived with children, or if other dogs or people were unexpectedly present.

45Very nice large open space for dog to run with a long driveway so you’re not too close to the street and traffic. Lovely visit! Was a bit unclear where I should park my car and unclear if any sections of the yard were off limits. I was hoping to see a sign of some sort to point me to the designated dog play portion of the yard. We just used our best judgement and it seemed fine. Would go again!

Very close to Scarborough Train Station. Fun for dogs and kids. Digging pit. Coolaroo elevated dog bed available. Plenty of room for fetch/frisbee. Zoomies on hills tires out your pup. We used to have a dog that climbed/jumped over 8’ fences so there are extra wires at the top to prevent escapes. The bottom is also secured to the ground with extra staples so no one can dig out either. Absolutely no new dog-to-dog introductions can occur at this spot. Enjoy! Fully fenced, secure and private acre of doggy heaven located on a cul de sac. Large grass yard, mulch, and wooded area on each side of the yard will keep your dog busy sniffing and exploring. The ground is cleared in the wooded areas for fun running and walks. Large blue stone shaded patio that backs up to woods. The large in ground pool is uncovered and ready to swim for an additional charge (see below”Extras”). The fencing between the yard and pool is not 100% secure, just keep an eye on your pups. All people and pets will be inside during your visit for privacy. There are poop bags, a bowl of water and a basket of toys for you and your pup if you wish.
