Private equestrian facility nestled in beautiful Litchfield County. 10+ acre field with various things to climb on and jump over (tire bridge, logs, etc). Fully enclosed INDOOR arena with lights also available under our second location

North Meadow Farm is an active equine training facility. I ask that guests keep dogs out of the barns and out of the house area and horse-occupied paddocks. There are 10+ acres open to explore, and the layout makes it easy to keep dogs in the appropriate area. GPS often directs people past the driveway, so look for the North Meadow Farm sign at the road. As you pull up the driveway, everything to your right is fair game for the pups to play and explore. When you get to the top of the driveway hill, you can pull into the field and park next to the driveway. This should all make sense once you arrive but don’t hesitate to reach out with questions!

At the end of the public trails there are large open fields. Our fenced play yard contains tunnels, climbing rocks and playgrounds, a bone-shaped dog pool, and more! 200+ toys to play with, featuring rubber balls, flirt poles and tug toys. Hi! I’m Joanne, and this is my dog Nifty’s favorite place in the world—so I thought I’d share it with other wonderful dogs and their people. We have 15 private acres with woods, open fields, and river access, and it’s been such a gift for my dog to have a safe space to run freely. I know not every dog thrives at dog parks, so I wanted to create a peaceful alternative. This space is especially loved by dogs who need a little extra room or prefer a quieter environment. The property is fenced along the two “long sides” which encourages your dog to stay nearby but with lots of roaming space. The fence is NOT fully secure. Please see the section about fencing. Near the cabin, there’s a cozy seating area where you can relax under the trees while your dog enjoys the space. We’re so happy to share this space with you and your pup!
