Welcome to West Willow Acres! Follow us on Instagram and tag us in your pics: @westwillowacres My husband, our dog, West, and I are so excited to share our little slice of heaven with you. The property is just over 8 acres and fully fenced with barb wire cattle fencing. The portion of the property around the house has more secure wire mesh fencing! We have lots of seating available, we just ask you don't come onto the porch for our dog's sake (: The property has meadows, trees, walking trails, and a pond for you and your pup to enjoy! Right off 35! Are you traveling down 35 with your pet? Take a pit stop at our Sniffspot and let your furry friend stretch their legs then be back on the road no problem!

Hazards

HOST NOTE

We have not found ticks on our dog even after running through the tall grass but I still recommend that you check your dog afterwards. Our neighbor does have cattle that will occasionally come up to the fence (please do not approach if your dog can be aggressive). There is always the chance of poison oak in the taller grass so humans should be vigilant. Also we have seen the occasional ant hill. Although we have not seen any yet, always be aware of snakes since we are in the country. As mentioned above, the fencing is mostly 5 strand barbed wire cattle fencing. See 7th picture in profile for reference. An escape artist could crawl through some parts of the fence if they really tried.

My yard is long and pretty big. Great for fetch. I have a kiddie pool and sprinkler for use. My back fence is chain link and on occasion there is a medium size dog that comes up to it. He’s super friendly. There are 2 small dogs that sometimes come out adjacent to us and they do bark. My yard currently is perfect for small to medium dogs or older dogs. Due the the back fence being about 3.5 feet high some larger dogs could try to jump it. My patio has a dining table, a cozy sofa with tables and a hammock swing. My yard has a hammock a child’s swing a play area and a gas fire pit with an outdoor tv. There is also ambient string lighting at night.
