55Mandy's property was the absolute perfect spot for our dogs to roam free with the ease of knowing they are safe to do so! The property is well-kept (mowed, easily accessible trails, etc). We spent a total of two hours and our dogs were busy the entirety of the time! If you are looking for a spot to take your dogs to roam and explore away from the city- I 10/10 recommended Mandy's sniff spot! We will definitely be back!
45Very nice spot! The fence is not super secure and my Border Collie went through to the neighbors yard multiple times. He has good recall, so I was able to call him back but if your dog likes to range away from you, just be aware that it’s easy for the dogs to slip through the fence. Otherwise, we had a blast running around exploring and swimming in the pond!

55Great spot for off leash fun! Plenty of room to run around and explore. My golden loved the pond! Could hear neighbor’s dogs but they were off in the distance so it did not bother my dog whatsoever - never saw other dogs or cattle actually when we went! Highly recommend visiting this SniffSpot.

Welcome to West Willow Acres! Follow us on Instagram and tag us in your pics: @westwillowacres My husband, our dog, West, and I are so excited to share our little slice of heaven with you. The property is just over 8 acres and fully fenced with barb wire cattle fencing. The portion of the property around the house has more secure wire mesh fencing! We have lots of seating available, we just ask you don't come onto the porch for our dog's sake (: The property has meadows, trees, walking trails, and a pond for you and your pup to enjoy! Right off 35! Are you traveling down 35 with your pet? Take a pit stop at our Sniffspot and let your furry friend stretch their legs then be back on the road no problem!

Hazards

HONEYBEES 🐝 We are keeping honeybees on the back right corner of our property. The bees are kept inside of a fenced off shelter so that animals (including your doggos) can’t reach the hives directly. That being said if you are nervous about bees or allergic, we would recommend avoiding the back right corner of our property. We have signs warning you when you’re close and pointing you in a different direction. We have not found ticks on our dog even after running through the tall grass but I still recommend that you check your dog afterwards. Our neighbor does have cattle that will occasionally come up to the fence (please do not approach if your dog can be aggressive). There is always the chance of poison oak in the taller grass so humans should be vigilant. Also we have seen the occasional ant hill. Although we have not seen any yet, always be aware of snakes since we are in the country. As mentioned above, the fencing is mostly 5 strand barbed wire cattle fencing. See 7th picture in profile for reference. An escape artist could crawl through some parts of the fence if they really tried - but our dog never has.

Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    Nice area but if your dog cant be off leash, the fenced in area is small compared to the rest.

    Host replied: Hi Miranda, thank you for the review! Just to make sure you know, the rest of our property is also fenced but it’s fenced with 5 strand barbed wire (instead of the wire mesh that’s used on the smaller portion you mentioned). The 7th picture on our profile is a good reference. Most dogs don’t have any trouble being off leash in the rest of the property because of the fence! Only if you have an escape artist who wouldn’t mind climbing through barbed wire would I recommend you keep them on a leash (: I hope that makes sense! We hope to have you back soon đŸ„°
